It looks like the protesters are out in force again tonight in Chicago, but are not bothering with the convention tonight. An interesting thing is that California has passed on assigning their delegates, and did not give them to Kamala. It might be that they are waiting until last to give her the delegates that push her over the top, or it might be that they really do not like her, but I guess we will find out later tonight.

They are focusing on the Israeli embassy there, because the DNC has erected Wall That Do Not Work™ around the Convention Center. Perhaps they don't want to detract from Barry's performance.

It has been tradition for years to let the home state of the candidate pass the roll call, until that state's votes can be the ones to put the candidate over the top. This year is of course "unprecedented" since the actual roll call was done earlier, remotely. So they just postponed to the end. No conspiracy. Just letting the home state have some extra spotlight. Minnesota passed until next to last, because of Walz.

I thought Raphael Warnock (Senator from Georgia) gave the best speech the first night of the convention. I'm probably biased because we lived through the excitement of the two Jan 5th (2021) run-off elections for Senators in Georgia.

Both elections weren't called until then next morning, just a few hours before the riots began at the Capitol in DC. He had an interesting way of weaving those two events into parts of his speech.

It is being reported tonight that the death toll has reached 25 pre-born babies aborted so far at the Democrat celebration in Chicago.

I just saw poll numbers and betting odds that seem to show that the DNC in Chicago actually lost votes for the Dems. That is kinda crazy as the purpose of those conventions is supposed to be to give the candidate a bump. I don't think this has ever happened before.

Dana Bash of CNN said during the DNC that Tim Walz was chosen as a running mate for Kamala because the Dems are apparently looking to appeal to the beta males who don't like sports, guns, or other masculine things. I guess if you like to drink tea and discuss your knitting, the Democrat party is for you guys.

I did not realize that demographic was in play. Talking Heads suck at being human. They just spew the crap on command.

And I still want Walz to tell us exactly what he expected those boys to do with the tampons he put into their bathrooms at taxpayer expense. All that money cannot be just for feelz.

So what was the DNC Convention's closing theme music?

I'm imagining "Yub Nub" sung by the Ewoks at the end of that Star Wars movie from the 1980s.
