I just listened to RFK addressing the nation, and it was well worth listening to, regardless of his speaking voice issues. The content was very well-said and shows his intelligence, and is easy to understand.
I think that this is going to work out to be a great partnership, and whatever office Trump gives him once he is back in office is going to be something that Kennedy will excell at.

He is passionate about health issues, diseases, poverty, and ending war, all of which are good things, and will align with President Trump’s views on the same issues, as fas as I can see.
He also cares a lot about children, so fighting human-trafficking will be as important to Kennedy as it has been to Trump.

    Good afternoon to all-
Well, I reckon that everyone- even someone with a very famous last name- is entitled to make a mistake every now and then. And what I've seen of the man's opinions and feelings on medical issues, he and the former occupant ought to be very cozy bedded up together. After all, liquids do seek their level...

We can do better- much better.

you all be safe and keep well- Ed

It feels like this has changed his political footprint from negligible and fading to relevant with a future. Hopefully he also brings a block of votes into Trump's broadening "tent."

I was impressed with Robert F. Kennedy's speech. Either his voice gets better as he gets going, or my ability to understand him improves over time because, partway through, I was no longer aware that he was hard to understand. It sounds like he wants a position of control in the government's healthcare agencies, and that would be good, although I'd also love to have him in charge of the CIA or, better yet, Homeland Security.

From what I am seeing on X, people from both the Kennedy and the MAGA camps are happy with the new unity, and I believe that it is going to be a blessing for both sides, as well as for ALL Americans, no matter how they feel about the political aspect.
As a country, one of the most important issues we have is our health, and the health of our children (and grandchildren).
Having someone who is passionate about having better foods for people to eat, healthier diets, and less chronic illness over a lifetime, will be a great thing for the whole country.

As RFK said, the Democratic Party of today is nothing like the one that his father and uncle belonged to.
I remember when I was growing up, just about every Catholic was a democrat, many of the Pentecostals, and probably a lot of other Christians.
The Catholics didn’t even believe in birth control back then, and would have been horrified to see today’s liberals out there marching for abortions-on-demand .
We were all conservative people, lived quiet lives , and mostly, no one even knew if their friends and neighbors voted for a democrat or republican, and cared more about the person who was running for office than which political party they belonged to.

It seems to me that this is where this Unity party is heading back to, and it will envelope people from both sides who want to see a better future for America.
We are just seeing the start of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents all coming together to support the things we all believe in and want .

I think most right-of-center people like Kennedy not for his politics, but because he hates what we hate.

And in my opinion, the current vitriol is because the Fed has usurped our state & local power and aggregated it in Washington. So unlike the not-too-distant past, the votes of people in other states directly affects me, and this aggregation of power drives party uniformity all up & down the ranks. I never used to vote along party lines.

I think the Kennedy folks will bring a bit of balance and make it much harder for the Left to pile untrue criticism on Trump. Kennedy certainly is not a "far-right extremist", and the Democrat party left him just as Reagan said it left him. It would certainly be poetic justice if the Kennedy voters put Trump over the top after the Democrats attacked Kennedy is somewhat the same way they attacked Trump--with legalisms and Lawfare. Bongino said he is convinced that die-hard Democrats are people who enjoy being lied to. If you tell them what they want to hear, they are all warm regardless of the truth. Everybody who saw any Biden appearances knew he was compromised, but the Dems were told he was fine until the Party decided he wasn't. THEN they were told he was otherwise and everybody fell into line with the coup.

Trump fields reporters' questions regarding RFK at a Las Vegas campaign event.

    15 minutes long.

I think RFK's move will rattle the cage of a lot of long time Democrats. JFK's path to the presidency took him through a string of local towns, and was memorialized by a statue of JFK in Pittston, PA marking the event.

I learned this morning that Kennedy's speech was not carried by any of the alphabet networks, CNN cut away as he was pointing out that Harris has not sat for an interview since being selected, not elected, as the Democrat nominee.

I'm not sure about MSNBC but I would be very surprised if they carried it.

Not only has Harris not sat for an interview, she has not held a press conference since being selected, not elected, either.

Two of the stupidest people on the MSM, but at least they are on a talk show, not the news. Don Lemon is among the stupidest as well, but he was supposedly a newscaster. It might open the eyes of many long-times Democrats to the fact that what we are seeing is NOT the Democrat party of JFK, RFK, or even FDR.

Many women (and men?) watch The View on MSNBC every day. Btw, you forgot Whoopi.
