Everyone will have to forgive me because I just didn’t understand how important this election is !
Seriously, I don’t know where my head has been at or who all those jokers in history were but apparently, we’re supposed to elect Kamala as the First President of the United States.
I mean, it has to be true because Gov. Kathy Hochul said so…….



Really seriously, the woman sounds like she’s talking to a puppy.

I knew George would be upset, but you have to realize that this woman was in the running for the nominee selection for the Democrats before they fell back on Kamala for money reasons. I think they choose the dumbest or the most demented folks, so they can be manipulated behind the scenes. Stand by for the pandemic and/or the war so the election cannot be held normally. They are winding up both Mpox and bird flu to see which they get by with. Of course, we now have Americans in Ukrainian uniforms taking pictures of themselves and posting them on the internet. What could that be for?

 

Harris was selected as VP because good ole' Joe was told to select her.

 

The only reason they seem to know is they were told to vote for the person. It's like in my state that is heavily Democrat. I have an acquaintance who is a Dem and his logic is because the state is primarily Democrat you have to be a Democrat and vote Democrat. No real thought or critical reasoning there. And like you said, no real reason.

The article says the tax would apply to households that are worth more than $100 million. But we all know how that would eventually trickle down to include everybody.

 

Right. Just like income tax and capital gains--the current version--did. People supported the income tax as it was only on the rich, and it was...for a while. Rich people would sit down in April and write a check to the government for their taxes. That all changed when the FDR (I think) came up with withholding and figured nobody would miss money they hadn't received if it just disappeared from their pay. I still here people who think the income tax refund is a gift from the government. They are too uninformed to realize it came form their pay and the government has been holding it all year.

 

I think I have to disagree that it was only the rich in the beginning. Here is a copy of the original 1040 from 1913, and it shows that if you made under $20,000, you had to pay 1%.

And you know something else. All the low info voters that are convinced that if you have Direct Deposit you can actually get your pay two days early. Well in reality, it doesn't matter what day of the week you get your pay, every two weeks is still every two weeks.

 

Welllll, yeah I agree with you on the two week thing but I have a renter who at one time had her check sent to her via that pesky Executive Branch service called the USPS and then it’s a guessing game which day the check is going to show up.
So, even though a payday is supposed to be every two weeks, it could be 2-3-4 days after payday when ya can go to the grocery store and buy that extra pack of Raman Noodles with the money that the Government and State left ya after taxes.

The bottom line, to be serious, is that Kamala’s idea to cap prices at the grocery and raise taxes on just about everyone, I do have concerns that there will be the Soviet style bread lines at some point.

To quote a now deceased comedian, “that bread had better be damned good”.

 

I've been kind of wondering myself what is going to be reason for having a lock down this year and just have paper ballots. However, unlike 2020, they're a little behind schedule. Remember. The lock downs in 2020 started in or around March of that year.

Oh wait! They won't have any election! They will just proclaim Harris President. Then they will follow up with a coronation like they do in Great Britain or any other country with a monarch.

 

So….maybe Kathy Hochal might not have been too far off after all.
I do hear that if a person takes enough drugs and drinks enough alcohol that they get pretty prophetic.

 

The Dems would certainly like to take the voter out of their "democracy" in the general just like they did for their nominee. Hopefully that won't happen. You are correct in that they haven't started the lockdowns yet, but, having learned a lot form the Covid thing, they might be more efficient in the voter fraud now.

 

After the CV-19 thing, there will be more dead voters than usual.

 

They are also trying to get 500,000 illegals through naturalization before the election to supplement the dead voters.
