I just saw someone post this tweet: For everybody listening, no Trump doesn't have a new lisp. It's a bad mic situation, where the high frequencies of his "s" sounds are being cut off. Makes him sound like he has a lisp. Whoever is running his audio needs to resolve the issue. Good mics are dirt cheap. HealthRanger (@HealthRanger) August 13, 2024
Another Tweet: Trump and Elons conversation just got more views than all mainstream media combined today. That’s why the fake news is mad, they can’t control it Hodgetwins (@hodgetwins) August 13, 2024
Elon Musk said this morning that counting the people who watched originally, plus ones who watched through other people’s accounts, so far, over a BILLION people have seen the conversation, and this is only in the first 12 hours afterwards. Most of Europe/Asia were sleeping last night, so more will watch today, and in the following days. An interesting thing yesterday, in order to try and stop liberals from listening to Trump and Musk, they had their influencers spread on Twitter that they would have a boycott Twitter blackout last night. Even if some of them actually did turn off Twitter, there were probably a whole lot that watched at least part of the conversation. I expected Trump would be using his MacBook and not his phone, but he looked pretty content with just speaking into the phone. They were already talking about doing this again, so when that happens, they will probably set things up a little better, and maybe even have visual as well as audio. I remember Musk saying, back when he invited Trump to the interview that he would also do one with Harris if she wanted to, but apparently, her people refused the invitation, and now she is grumbling about not having her turn. President Trump got over a million new followers on his Twitter account yesterday alone, and if he continues tweeting, that number will keep going up. Right now, you can’t access Spaces with an iPad, so that might be why Trump was just using his phone, it might be the only device that works at this point. After google removed the Tesla youtube account, we ended up watching on a different channel that was able to get signed in to the conversation. I am pretty sure that google is going to bring the Tesla account back, or Musk will sue them; but it took the channel offline for last night. This was posted about 11:30 last night by Musk; so even then, the chat reached large numbers of people .
Not only were there tons of Denial-of-Service attacks, a Washington Post reporter was screaming for the FCC to shut it down: *****************************************🚨 Did this Washington Post “reporter” just ask @PressSec if the Biden regime could INTERVENE and stop Trump’s interview with @elonmusk on 𝕏?! “I think that misinformation on Twitter is not just a campaign issue...it's an America issue...What role does the White House or the… pic.twitter.com/60RA9CVuaf Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) August 12, 2024 *****************************************
Ironic isn’t it. A reporter who uses the 1st amendment way past its intended passage yet begs the government to censor a publicized conversation all in the name of “America”? Ya know, that America that outshines nearly every country in the world BECAUSE of the 1st Amendment? Funny thing is, if X was the old Twitter, everything would have been censored.
Another Tweet: Combined views of the conversation with @realDonaldTrump and subsequent discussion by other accounts now ~1 billion https://t.co/s8x8QmdmnY Elon Musk (@elonmusk) August 13, 2024
The leftist media drops all pretenses in an election year. News broadcasts on most of the mainstream media should have to register as Democrat PACs or as in-kind contributions. I listened to most of it on Timcast, which wasn't removed, although it is on YouTube.
I didn't know Trump is back on Twitter (X). I think I'll get back on there, still have my account, just would rather hear what he's saying rather than always getting it second-hand thank you as always @Yvonne Smith , denise
I am glad that President Trump is back on X also, @Denise Evans ! I really enjoyed seeing Trump and RFK Jr. be together on stage, and I think that they are going to work well together for this country. RFK is SO passionate about health issues, and I really like a whole lot of what he says. It gets easier to listen to his voice after listening for a while, and he is so very intelligent and well-spoken that it is worth listening to him.
