ABC seems to be getting hit pretty hard this morning for its biased debate moderation. But again, Trump should have expected and prepared for that, and I'm angry that he let them beat him down. Rather than reacting to what they were saying, he should have used the time to make relevant points rather than defending himself, particularly over such nonsense as the size of his rallies. He needed to reach the people who don't come to his rallies.
He's human, and he's taken so much crap and what do people do that are supposedly on his side? start running him down. It really seems the good guys just can't win anymore. America doesn't deserve any better. It's like seeing Rocky get all but beaten to death all over again It's sick, and it makes me sick to watch it
He sure is not a quitter, but I don't blame him for starting to "shoot" back, and I think what we all deserve is for him to just quit, and enjoy the rest of his life, to hell with America.
As if he didn’t already know, Trump “should” have known from the first question to Kamala how the debate was going to go. She was asked something in the nature of: Is the economy better now? Kamala didn’t even answer the question but instead went into a rehearsed monologue of telling people how much money she’s going to give first time home buyers etc. Trump didn’t appear to have picked up on that nor did the moderators ask her to answer the question anew. They just floated over to Donald T and asked him the same question which he did in typical Donald Trump fashion. From what I have gathered this morning from some recaps raises the suspicion (for me at least) that the moderators were previously engaged with Kamala in her practice sessions at her Hotel. Whether in body or by tech, Kamala and the moderators seemed way too cohesively connected, so much so that I do have little doubt that the “debate” was previously staged to favor Kamala. Now, whether it can be proved or whether anyone else thinks the same as I is possibly meat for another conversation but until they prove that the event wasn’t rehearsed with the moderators on board, I’ll continue to have my suspicions.
IMO, America is so screwed up that nobody wants anything to do with "cleaning it up" except President Trump. I just hope all the "positive" info I see on how "red" our States are becoming, is true. I don't trust much of anything, especially people
I didn't watch but I did record it, but still may not watch. Trump walked into the belly of the beast there with all sides in that environment against him. His performance good or bad will not change my vote.
I think that we are picking up a LOT of good new people when President Trump invited Kennedy to join forces with his campaign. Kennedy is focused on health issues, and will in that part of Trumps cabinet, somewhere. We now have MAGA & MAHA (make America Healthy again), and most of us from both groups fit together really well. I am now following quite a few of the Kennedy people on X, too.
I agree, I know RFK is very into a healthy lifestyle, he's in great shape and wants the best for our health in America. I love seeing them get together, and was happy that RFK endorsed President Trump
Yes, he does that a lot, he's not short on grit, that's for sure, and I do mean true grit, not the bad grit
The fact is, no one person (even the president) can effect change by themselves. As we all saw with Trump's first term, the Republicans were so busy fighting among themselves that nothing got accomplished even when they were the majority. The Democrats are all in lock-step no matter what, so they can push their agenda through.
Vivek states this very well. I think he's right about Kamala Harris too. It's wrong to accuse her of being a Marxist because that gives her too much credit. Her positions are not hers. She's saying whatever she's told she should say to get elected, and even her previous pro-Marxist statements were unlikely to have resulted from a reasoned ideology. Running for office in California, Marxist nonsense is a plus, so she adopted it, and that's the same reason she's now adopted most of Trump's positions - she recognizes them as being popular, and if she can take them away from Trump, so much the better for her campaign. She won't alienate her base because, as Bernie Sanders acknowledged, her base knows she's simply saying what she needs to say to get elected and they are perfectly okay with lying.
From local reports, I believe he was 100% correct in what he said, but he should have known that a mainstream audience would not be aware of it because the Democrat media wasn't going to report on bad behavior on the part of immigrants. Plus, that wasn't the most relevant issue. He had a ton of things that couldn't be so easily disputed that he should have focused on.
I don't think his supporters are running. I just had hoped for the undecided to be won over. The polls are better for him today even on CNN and ABC is shown as corrupt as it is.
