I am told that 30% of the U.S. GDP is now government spending. I don't know if that is true, but if it is, then all the borrowing to send money to Ukraine could be reflected in the U.S. GDP. It could be the double-edged sword of trying to rescue the election for the Democrats and lay a trap for Trump if they can't. If Harris should win (God forbid), the Democratic establishment will write her off as a one-termer. If Trump should win, the economy will be so bad and inflation so out of control that he won't be able to fulfill his promises.

I am sure that much of the money we send ends up in the Zelenskyy "relief fund" to finance his mansion in the UK and other "causes". The weapons have been found on the black market as well, since there is no audit of the disposition of aid as there used to be.
So, who couldn’t see this coming. Gov. Newsom signed an executive order omitting the need for a person to have an ID to vote even in a Federal Election. Not only that but he banned any Municipality’s right to make an ID mandatory for voting. Seems to me that each Municipality has a representative style government and if the citizens of said Municipality want to make it illegal to vote without an ID, then so be it but nope, His Majesty Newsom’s proclamations outweigh whatever the citizens want which makes the state, for all intensive purposes a Totalitarian State. It’s a given that there are some 13 other states that do not require an ID to vote but for the most part, I believe that’s pretty much for city and state elections but Newsom has made it clear that he wants illegals to have the right to vote even if he doesn’t phrase his words that way.

I was heart-broken to see ID was not required from me, only address of residency to prove I'm an Oregonian. Who the heck can't get that easy enough. I don't know how, but bet it can be done Portland/Salem is just another "nest of vipers" that are in charge My small city is a pretty good strong-hold for the Right, so far, but I see a harris/walz sign, 2 I think on my walks, and a couple of bumper stickers. I cringe when I think what the people must be like that live there. Talk about a faith-builder, for me it's have faith or die from anxiety/fear/and depression.
