I have seen very tough men brought to tears while a stone passed @Tony Page. I have no experience myself, but I hope you pass it cleanly and without pain.

How is your daughter doing? Still okay?

    My thought for today.

Rules are different in the baseball game of life. Do me wrong a first time it's strike one, do me wrong a second time it's strike too, on the third strike it's take a walk. [TP 8/31/24]

Went to my urologist appointment yesterday, he didn't seem too concerned about my kidney stone moving into my bladder. He was more concerned with my PSA level at 8.6
he took another blood test and urine test. He's already talking about an MRI and depending on the results a biopsy.
I'm assuming that if I have a UTI that may be the cause of the raised PSA level. My wife right now is frustrated with me, because I said when I got back from the doctor I was not going to go for MRI or biopsy. I hate MRI'S with my bad back laying on that table it's painful. I'm not going to worry about it till I get the results back and see what the doctor says.

Yeh, that's a good thing that it's moving along without getting stuck. If push comes to shove, they can go in your bladder, zap it, then flush out the bits (they'll have to put you under.) Way less intrusive than having to zap a stuck one in your kidney.

Been going through some old photos here's one of my pet croc Gertrude - Kidding of course this is a photo I took at Disneyworld in 2018. My daughter treated us to vacation with them, we stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge could see the preserve from our window. The photo below is from an attraction not the preserve.

Remember when you could buy pet alligators? My dad managed a G.C. Murphy store, and they had parakeets, turtles, fish, chameleons, and dyed chicks & ducks over Easter. (There were always free-range parakeets living in the store.) I cannot recall if the department stores sold alligators as well. I gotta think they did.

I do remember alligator's as pets, Because I had a terrarium Set up, With caiman (south american allegator) and Mississippi slider turtles. I was about 12 years old when I set it up, I also had Silver Dollar fish in it. I had an under gravel filter, a stack of rock with a light above it, so the turtles and gator could bask in the heat of the bulb. The water level was a little more than half the depth of the tank so the fish had plenty of depth. I made underwater caves for the fish to hide from the gator and turtles. What fun it was to watch, I would throw a worm in the water and the turtles would do a tug of war for it.

Got a call this morning from CVS drugs that my prescription for Amoxicillin was ready. I called my urologist found out he ordered the prescription. He said the last test I took indicated I had a minor UTI. The blood test showed my PSA it's still high, I really don't expect it to go down. For the last week I've been getting the chills now and then, maybe the UTI is the cause. I have an appointment to see him in 2 weeks we'll see where we go from there.

If you are symptomatic @Tony Page that may be a good sign. Just make sure you have an antibiotic regimen for at least 3 weeks of antibiotics if you are addressing prostatitis.

Back in the seventies I was diagnosed with chronic prostatitis, I tried controlling it with saw palmetto and other herbs since then. My last visit I explained this to the Doctor. Maybe thats the reason for the new meds.
One thing, I don't understand, I've had 2 cats scans and 1 X-ray.They never mentioned that I have a double kidney, Which I was told I have about twenty five years ago.

That's what I'm told. If my memory is correct they did show me it's to me on an x ray years ago.
