Since D. Trump openly praised the ladies when the press gave them so much grief so yeah, she could very well be part of a team that is supposed to protect him again.
Instead of DEI hiring I would like to see a height rule stating that all agents on the body team must be taller than the protectee regardless of gender.
Reminds me of the old RCMP. They used to require all the applicants to be at least 6’ or something like that. Wouldn’t be a bad idea for the SS as well except it would ruin their equality requirements. Which makes me think. Ya know, I don’t recall a dwarf ever being in office. I think we need a black female dwarf for VP. I know we already have a couple of mental dwarfs but that doesn’t count.
Families are protected too. So is the current VP. I don’t think she is very tall but ok. Wouldn’t the shorter agents go on the teams of the short protected? Is the job about being fair to DEI or actually keeping the president and others safe? It’s time to get WOKE out of the goal or just admit we can’t protect them because it’s more important to be politically correct and disband the incompetent Secret Service.
The thing is, a major portion of the DEI hires are hired by DEI hires but I do totally agree with ya Vada. As it is, I have this unshakable feeling that the FBI and the SS have been sabatoged and pockets are being filled to give as little protection for Trump as they can get away with.
Government agencies are so screwed up I don't see how they can ever be straightened out, especially when the electorate doesn't pay attention and doesn't really care.
The more I listen to JD Vance, the better i like him. I like that he has taken along his wife, his kids, his mother, and even his dog, Atlas, along with him as he campaigns. His mother looked like a regular everyday kind of person, and you could tell she was enjoying being out there and meeting people with her son. Atlas behaved perfectly, and has not bitten any secret service people like Biden’s dogs did . JD was talking to Tucker, and he had Atlas there, and he was telling Tucker that someone put on the internet that Atlas was really a “rent-a-dog” that his campaign people gave JD to take around with him so people would think he liked animals. Since they had raised him from a puppy, he and Tucker had a good chuckle about this ridiculous lie, and even more so that people would stoop to making up stuff about the dogs to try and make Vance look bad and fake. There is no way that a rented dog could have the kind of bond that Vance’s dog has with him and with his little kids.
I am concerned about the demands placed on the pets of presidents and vice presidents. These animals are faced with a total upheaval of their lives pretty much every day, with people coming and going and so on. It's unreasonable to expect an animal to accommodate all of this without showing signs of frustration. There are people in the White House who I'd be tempted to bite. I chose not to run for president because I couldn't guarantee that Bubba wouldn't scratch the hell out of the Resolute Desk or that Ella wouldn't claim every chair in the place.
That is such an excellent point and when Trump got shot at the rally I thought "what the hell"?? Like someone's gonna aim for his lower body which is all a couple of the "SS" were ridculously short Just no common sense used, or maybe on purpose.

I listened to J.D. w/Tucker this a.m. and was pretty impressed with what he had to say Yvonne, imo, he's smart, so far above anything I had hoped for in a running-mate for President Trump. He strikes me as being very bold in speaking the truth, and not trying to sugar-coat it to get more votes. He also sticks to the issues. I doubt he'll be resorting to "not" answering the hard questions like some we see doing that

Tonight is the night when JD meets Walz in a debate on CBS. It has been broadcast that Walz is nervous about it. Will Vance be given the opportunity to bring up the good governor’s mandates during Covid, the Tampons in boys restrooms or Tim’s real military record? I seriously doubt it. JD vance is walking into unfriendly territory and like Trump, will be facing a left leaning socialist friendly 3 to 1 stand-off.
I don't understand how we stand by and let this sort of thing happen? Why is it always Left leaning people who "run" these debates @Bobby Cole. It should be a panel of both-sides. I just don't get it, how do we the people have no say in this? I wouldn't want it to be all Right-wing, but how about half and half or no debate at all Why would anyone even want (I mean folks that are truly fair-minded) even want to sit there and let their blood-pressure rise while watching a total scam against everything America "should" stand for
