Some of those viewers are watching to see if he gets shot at again. Others watch to catch him saying stupid things he is famous for. It's like people watching a person threatening to jump.
Today is the day when President Trump went back to Butler, where he was shot and almost killed in July. He has said he didn’t get to give his talk because he got shot, so he wanted to “finish the job” this time. This is probably the biggest Trump Talley that he has had in the last few years of him having huge rallies ! Over 60,000 people are at the rally, plus JD Vance, Elon Musk, and a whole bunch of congressmen as well. Veteran who had been paratroopers parachuted into the rally at the opening, once of them with an enormous American flag flying in the air, and Lee Greenwood singing the opening song. When Elon came onstage, the crowd went wild, and Elon was like a little kid, bouncing and jumping as he came onstage………. I watched it at least 3-4 times because it was just so much FUN to watch him and see Elon looking so joyful. Over 5 million people are watching it that they have counted, and since people on X are reposting it on their own channels, there are probably a LOT more than the five million. I have not watched the whole thing, but am watching clips being posted on X. It looks like it is closing with an opera singer actually on the stage singing Nisan Dorma , that Trump used before, from the movie about taking down all the bad guys (can’t remember the name of it) I am listening, and what it is (I think) an opera singer, but singing “Hallelujah “. So not the song from the move this time.
I searched some more, and this is the opera singer who did the songs at today’s MAGA rally. He actually performed several songs. Earlier in the rally, he sang “Ave Maria” when they had the memorial for Corey Compadore , then at the end he sang several more songs, including How Great Thou Art, as well as the other two I mentioned in the last post. He is apparently a famous opera singer, I just had never heard of him before, but his voice is awesome, and there are some good clips online of him singing tonight.

If he has another one near me I think I'll try attending. The last one was after the 1st attempt on Trump's life, and I admit that I chicken-shitted out of risking entering the kill zone.
I saw a clip from one in Wisconsin. I am not sure when it was, but he received the endorsement of the Wisconsin Sheriff's Association and the presenter said he had the support of 80-90 percent of all law enforcement officers nationwide.
That was yesterday, @Don Alaska . Pretty much, Trump has the support of all of the law enforcements amd also the firefighters. Since both Harris and Walz supported the rioters, which were devastating for both the police and the firefighters, it is no wonder that they support a president who does not want riots, is not friends with school shooters, and does not bail arsonists out of jail.
We have had several rallies in Wisconsin. And he has been to the Helene victims to provide aid. The man is the energizer bunny and I hope he takes care of himself. I don't know where he gets his strength. He is older than I am and I need a nap every day even if I don't do anything. He is taking on things from all sides which is what we need in a President who is not a puppet but I don't know how he can do it for 4 more years.
I'd sure love to see the crowd of people if Trump & JD would come to Southern Oregon, anywhere in oregon besides Portland/Salem area. I'm just glad I can "be there" via internet though. Sometimes I think I'm the only one the will vote next month. People here in my building seem to just watch soap operas, everyone here is over 62, but I don't plan to stop living because of a dang number. I'd be at those rallies for sure as long as they weren't too far to drive my old pickup, but even then, I might just hitch a ride as I know many from my town would be going
He is truly amazing. While Biden can only work 4 hours a day, requires naps and a lot of long vacations, Trump is constantly on the go. He is energy personified. Even Harris and Walz only seem to do one appearance a day at most, Trump, who is much their senior, goes, and goes.
