I would much prefer Tulsi Gabbard as our first female President.

If female candidates would simply quit saying in their speeches how much we need a woman in the Oval Office, maybe they’d get more respect from men.
Moreover, if a candidate’s platform seems to be built upon what sex, skin color, faith or whatever ethnic origin they might have, it is going to take a heckova lot to convince me that the Oval Office would be better with them in it.

I care more about what is in someone’s head and very little or nothing about how they do #1 in the donniker.

It is not we here that seek a woman president, nor pilot, nor soldier, nor much of any post. It is the progressives who seek to destroy the family and thus society but not a lot of the masses understand this. They think DEI will bring equality to all, not earning one's way through merit.
Now there are women who seek equal pay as men. If they do equal work they do deserve it. But many don't realize what that is. The women who fought through the glass ceiling may have done the work. But Kamala is not one of those.
Although, there is corruption even in the good ole boys club too.

I’m sure everyone here remembers the Detroit riots of 1967.
Lyndon Johnson was the President at the time and brought in active duty military service members to help quell the destruction.
Even though the military was given permission to do what they must to protect life and property, the Detroit police were more apt to send someone to their grave than the military was.

In other words, it isn’t the first time an administration has given those type of orders but even though the military is trained to follow orders, they’re also taught not to fire upon civilians unless fired upon first.

At the Catholic dinner, Trump told Schumer that with Kamala losing, he still has a chance to be the first female president; all he has to do is identify as a woman.

Bobby, that is all well and good but there are still a certain number of men who do not think any woman is qualified to be president. Why would a man disrespect a woman who says more women are needed in the Oval office? The reason you are hearing that imo is because there are still men who discriminate for the presidency on the basis of gender

I want a woman pres....but not Kamala or Hillary. I would love to see Condi Rice or Nikki Haley
LOL I like the statement ..a woman's place is in the house..The White house... :)

I am one who does want a female president and I am far from progressive ...I do think for too long men have dominated all fields and women were not 'permitted' in some areas. e.g. I grew up with all doctors being males. Now 1/2 are female and imo that is a plus.
Congress and the Senate need balance because both men and women voices need to be heard. Both have different skills and talents and can complement each other if respect is shown.
IMO there are still too many men who are not willing to see women in places of 'power' that were traditionally held by men
.At the same time the progressives are going too far in trying to make men look weak and stupid..that is terribly wrong.
It boils down to the truism.. extremes are wrong...

I know I shouldn't enter into this but here goes. I'm hoping for answers from everyone.

What would the female gender bring, or not bring, to the presidency that the male gender doesn't?

IMO they bring a different perspective to life in general. There is no reason a female should not be president. 21 countries have female 'heads of state' For me the question is more why should it always be a man...Of course it always must be the right man or woman (not meant just literally lol)

When it comes to Congress I think female voices give different POVs and life experiences.for all to consider.
