I tried to post the 5 types of invasive vines we have here but it is long and the link doesn't work or it could be I don't know how to work it.

Beth I know this one is Kudzu, not sure about the other one., say goodbye to all these trees.
It is a shame what these do to a once beautiful forest.

No Yvonne, they are just briars, no berry's, although the muscadine vines don't have briars, they are black and like the ones we ate as kids in North Georgia.

I took pic's of some of the potato vines but not sure which vine they grow. I read that some get to be 400lb.s, which I can't imagine one of those. I read but forgot which one, a site here at UF,

Jake used his tractor to pull some of these, once he cleared a trail I went in with loppers and cut up close so he could remove a couple trees with his chain saw.

these vines are all over the ground where Jake used root rake.

I hope I live long enough to see the frontage of our property after its cleared.
potato roots from what I think are the black briars which are the worse for cutting you. Some are a couple pounds , these came up in just that small clearing of about 200 SF.
Sun was shining so I couldn't see anything, just pointed and clicked picture.

I have a plant identifier app, @Marie Mallery , and it you can get a clear closeup of the leaves (group of leaves), then I can see what my app says they are.
It works on pictures and not just actual plants, I just need a clear photo that shows a part of the plant, enough to identify it.

The blackberries have real small leaves, while vines are large. @Yvonne Smith , I'll get Jake to put up a picture later, right now he is on the tractor.

Yvonne, I took the pictures of the blackberry bush and muscadine leaves. Soon as Jake gets off the tractor, he will load them. Blackberry leaf is a lot smaller than the vine leaf and is more of a plant than vine.

If you already know what the plant is, there is no reason for me to try and identify it for you with my plant identity app, @Marie Mallery . I thought you said that you have some kind of black briers that you do not know what they are, and that is what I was trying to help with.
So, if you want to take a picture of those close up, then the plant app can maybe help you identify them.

Here is a picture of the black vines that are the most aggressive to lower legs.
I'll put up the bottom where it is darkest then the leaf area where it starts to turn green. front and back of leaf, Not a good camera, sorry,
Bottom where brairs are the worse.
