In my mind home made is worth double the value of the ready made rubbish that’s found in over flowing freezers in supermarkets @Mary Stetler

Down to +6 F. this morning so winter is close. No snow though and the sky is crystal clear. Some areas nearby had windstorms yesterday, but it didn't affect us at all. I got the tiller off the tractor and the blade put on so I can deal with the small snowfalls when they come. I have to check out the snowmachine/snowmobile today to make sure it is ready when things get snowy. The snowblower will go on when things get really snowy, probably next month sometime.

Still beautiful fall days. If it weren't for company coming this week, I might get something done.

It was supposed to snow yesterday but it didn't, at least not at this level. The mountains are well-covered though. It is supposed to stay below freezing again for the next week, Chances of snow over the weekend, but....

Dave got his leaf bagger back from repair. I went to the fall bird swap and got some more feathered pullets. It is cold here this week so will have to keep them inside for a bit. They did not like my choice of feed so I had to run get some baby chick feed. We both forgot this is the day for kids to trick of treat!!!! I bought a ton of candy and here it lays.

Just now 40 are 8:00 am. High suppose to be 80-right before the sun goes down.
Mon and Tues. the highs are 90 plus - after that = lucky low 60 for highs. November 25 this last year -got 8 inches of snow! Um think I already told y'all that ;)

It is hot and DRY; I wish we'd get some rain. And summertime just keeps hanging on in Houston.

Awoke to 25 F. and a foot of now snow. The 4" to 8" prediction was a little low and it is still snow a bit. I am waiting for light to plow as my wife doesn't have to leave for church until around noon. I will plow this and perhaps the next snow before putting the snowblower on the tractor. The plow will push any sticks or rocks off the driveway so the blower doesn't pick them up, and it will establish a base the snowblower can easily slide over.
