I ordered an Aerogarden from the Woot! sale. Just got delivered and this is the UPS delivery photo. Kind of appropriate for October.
Woot! has these solar ground lights on sale so I bought the set of 12. They have good reviews so we'll see.
Beth I just gave my oldest daughter some ground lights for her birthday in August, I like yours too. Leo and Foxy would just think,' thanks for the snack' if I put them up. Our last order was Chinese Noodles.
Well... it seemed like a good idea at the time. This griddle came today and it weighs 45 pounds. Is it just me or does that seem a bit hefty for a "portable" griddle?? At any rate, I can barely lift it so I have put out feelers to see which kid might want it. I keep forgetting how old I am.
I bought a 10 pak of SD cards for my game cameras. (Amazon is cheaper than EBay.) I have 2 cards for each of them "in a safe place." I have no idea where that safe place might be...but they're safe. I think I have a couple of turtle nests in my yard and I'm gonna set up some cameras to see, if I can get them set so ground-level movement triggers them.
We bought mixed size band aides, came in today. We use lots of those now, guess thin skin tears easier.
I hope your daughter likes her lights, Marie. We put ours out today and I was just outside admiring them. They look so good that I came in and ordered another box of 12 while Woot! has them on sale.
I bet they do look beautiful. I know they did in the picture, and she really likes them. I want to get some for us soon. They are always in the yard entertaining playing Corn Hole and cooking out.
I ordered a gas leak detector we haven't cooked using gas stove in forty five years. My daughter on occasion will yell down to us from upstairs that she smells gas. Now we'll have a way of verifying it. KABOOM!!!
I bought some 2 cycle oil for my chain saw. I was on another forum where someone was recounting their chain saw horror stories and having a tree snap back and whack them in the head. Then I thought of @Jake Smith and his recent accident, so I threw one of these in the cart: My neighbor uses one of these every time he breaks out his chain saw. It's a smart thing to do.
It's what I needed that day; and I'd be ok, after it "hit me hard". It's still healing, it itches, so I think I'm almost getting there.
I ordered a cordless leaf blower from Amazon. I have a perfectly good corded one, but I am tired of dragging 100' of electrical cord all over the yard.
