Truthfully.com You all may recall this flash from the past when 18 year old Natalee Holloway went to Aruba with friends after graduating from high school, and then disappeared. Dutch teenager Joran van der Sloot was a suspect who at one point confessed and then recanted. Her body was never recovered. van der Sloot was never prosecuted. The guy is a real piece of work. In 2010, van der Sloot offered to tell authorities where Holloway's remains were for $25,000 upfront and another $225,000 to come. The lawyer sent van der Sloot $15,000 but later learned he was lying again. Van de Sloot then traveled to Peru that same year to participate in a poker tournament, where he was convicted of killing a 21 year old woman to rob her of her casino winnings. He was Federally charged with Extortion in relation to the 2010 offer to sell information regarding the location of Natalie's remains. He was offered leniency in that case if he confessed to Natalie's murder, which he did in October. [I don't fully understand the trade-off in pleading guilty to homicide to lessen an extortion charge.] The guy's a real piece of %$&@ work.
I remember all that ........ and the obvious anguish & pain her poor mother was in. Van-Der-Sloot ........ should be dead as well, IMO
Twenty years of knowing this bastard did it. Had it been dealt with properly, that Peruvian girl would still be alive.
