This was my theme song for quite a while before I married.

Not to be morbid, but I always thought this could be a good funeral tribute song.

    From the film "Logan."

James Logan is an exceptional mutant in the X-Men franchise. Earlier than most, here he's perhaps 200 years old.

One of his powers is fabulous healing ability, which also has extremely slowed his aging. He's seem a lot, living through many wars, often on the front. However a mad scientist had captured him and placed a lot of "Adamantium" (whimsical very strong alloy) within his body, including replacing his bone retractable claws. This metal is slowly killing him with its toxicity and he is now nearing his end.

Professor Xavier is here as well, and his mental powers along with a growing dementia are very dangerous. It already caused him to kill most of the other X-Men a bit earlier.

The little girl was created from his genetic material, so she's not quite (though all but) his biological daughter. She has also had Adamantium grafted onto her bones by the baddies.

It is very much a tale of growing old and reaching end of life.

At one of my boys' "5th grade graduation" party at the end of the year before moving on to middle school they played this as the closing song.

The kids had no idea why the teachers and staff and parents all had weepy eyes. It really hit me that for many teachers this is a tough time.
