Could be. But when I was 19, I drove a Coca-Cola truck filling machines in Alexandria VA. My route sometimes took me to the seamier parts of town, where there was this hole-in-the-wall that had the best meatloaf sandwiches. White bread + meatloaf + onions + mustard. It was on my weekly lunch rotation. I will say that I never used to like cold pizza, but these days I appreciate the coagulated cheese holding the toppings on.
I like cold pizza, cold fried chicken, and cold leftover grilled steak. Some things don't reheat well IMO.
So I made a pot of chili. Then I decided I wanted a chili dog so I thawed out some Oscar Mayer wieners and sent the hubby to the store to buy hot dog buns. He usually eats a bowl of chili with cheese, jalapenos and Fritos on top, but he decided to have a chili dog, too. Now this is a man I have been with for over 35 years and he has NEVER eaten a hot dog. (His absolute NO foods are bologna and hot dogs; he's weird.) Not sure what got into him today, but we had chili dogs, fries, and cole slaw for supper.
I had a big lunch so I cracked open a can of ALDI house brand chili. For some reason, I started waxing nostalgic over having a dog...
