Thanks for this, I've been learning more about "hiring illegals", even seasonal. I started looking for more info because someone posted somewhere that "we need our migrant workers because american citizen won't do the job. I asked the question, somewhere, why wouldn't american citizens do the work, because they weren't offered a living wage??

This is total crap for people like your friend to have to resort to this. We need American jobs for legal Americans. And bring on the tariffs if someone wants cheap labor so they build what should be "for our workers" in other countries:mad:

The party tally for called races for the House of Representatives is (R) 213 and (D) 208. Republican's have one more assured seat that's being contested between 2 Republicans in Washington state, so their total is 214. Majority threshold is 218.

As of now (Nov 10, 4PM) there are 20 uncalled races for the House of Representatives (including the Washington state guaranteed Republican seat.) Half of those uncalled races are in California. Some of the margins are a slim 1%:

    -Alaska's 1st district. (R) is leading.
    -Arizona's 1st district. (R) is leading.
    -Arizona's 6th district. (R) is leading.
    -California's 13th district. (R) is leading.
    -California's 22nd district. (R) is leading.
    -California's 27th district. (R) is leading.
    -California's 41st district. (R) is leading.
    -California's 45th district. (R) is leading.
    -Colorado's 8th district. (R) is leading.
    -Iowa’s 1st district. (R) is leading.
    -Washington's 4th district. It's a toss-up between 2 (R)s.

    -Arizona's 4th district. (D) is leading.
    -California's 9th district. (D) is leading.
    -California's 21st district. (D) is leading.
    -California's 39th district. (D) is leading.
    -California's 47th district. (D) is leading.
    -California's 49th district. (D) is leading.
    -Louisiana's 6th district. (D) is leading.
    -Maine’s 2nd district. (D) is leading.
    -Oregon's 5th district. (D) is leading.

I've been watching this every a.m., and I am so praying we win the House. We will have a lot of power, and I hate saying this, but if the rinos mess us up, well, like I keep saying they better not, LOL!! :p

Maine's 2nd District is conservative. The problem with this race is that the Democrat incumbent frequently used video of himself at a gun range in his advertising, despite voting in favor of pretty much every gun control law that came up, and generally talks conservative while voting liberal. Also, it doesn't help that his Republican opponent is, at best, a moderate Republican. Unfortunately, there are enough voters who don't pay attention to facts that he can be elected in a conservative district, particularly when running against a Republican who isn't much better on the issues.

Most Republicans are on to him, but when he can depend on every Democrat vote and a significant number of Republicans who don't pay attention, he can win elections.

This is a college lecture, so it might not be exciting enough for some of you, but it's pretty good coverage of the media's behavior.

Definitely makes sense. I wonder what it would be like if everyone payed attention, and, everyone had access to more than just cable news. I know many that don't have internet here in this building, so I can only imagine how many 100s of 1000s don't have any way to get other news if they wanted it.

Well, I know we are way better off than we were, I'll try and keep that at the front of my mind. I will also keep the faith, except when I lose it

I think it was Vivek and Tucker discussing our maybe oldest and most well-known colleges, I think we used to be proud of. But Vivek had amazing info on what the one he went to was like now, compared to in the past. It's heart-breaking to me to hear what they are being taught more of, and much less of. Can't recall now but I might take a look at this college lecture ;)

Wow, I'm just at the 1st amendment on Freedom of the Press, and I can't stop listening, what an eye opener this is going to be ;) Thanks Ken, excellent! I love this guy!!
    Edit:
Oh man, that was amazing, I listened to every word, and it is so exciting to have all that talked about "fully" and it is wonderful how we have so much information now. The part about MSM and how they tried to cover up Joe Bidens health, how biased they are.

There's so much more but I can't do it justice, I hope others watch it, and I shared it to X as well, and Facebook. I doubt anyone on FB will watch, they are mostly "bury their heads in the sands" type. But I can say I try ;)

We can share what we want to as well, like Larry said, if we want to it takes a microphone and a camera, even just a web-cam or laptops built in.

There's more info coming out on X's "Live Chats" too, and some are ok I've seen, others, hmm, just not my cup of tea. I am really thinking MSM is losing so fast, that we could see the end of it, as it exists now, in our lifetime.

I watched the Mark Levin interview of Donald Trump Jr., a little while ago.
My takeaway is that they thanked America and now have a mandate to execute their plans to make America great again.
Trump Jr. Will be available for 90 days to assist his father in selecting the approximately 3000 people for his administration. They're more familiar this time around with untrustworthy people in the government, including those with an R next to their name.
They want to see the citizens of this country thrive, not just survive.
World leaders are coming around to wanting better relations with America, and he's not in office yet. He mentioned China's Xi Jinping wants to normalize relations with America.
12 hours after he wins, Hamas wants to talk about piece.

Pretty much everyone has access to the information they need to understand what's going on. However, there are many problems. For one, people don't know who to trust, and they don't trust themselves to be able to sort out the truth from the lies, so many people still look to the mainstream media for verification of things that they might learn elsewhere. The bigger problem is that too many people are conditioned not to listen or watch anything longer than five or ten minutes, so they read the blurbs to news stories rather than reading the actual stories, and they read the teasers to videos rather than watching the videos. These are deceptive on both sides. One might want people to think they're reporting something other than what they are reporting, while others exaggerate to get people to click on their stuff. Clickbait isn't right or left; both sides do that.

Don't misunderstand. I don't have time to spend two hours watching everything that someone might want me to, and there are a lot of things that I'm just not interested in or think that I already know what I need to know about. I rarely WATCH videos that are an hour or longer, but I frequently LISTEN to them. Most videos don't require you actually to watch them to get what you need from them, so I play them in the background while I'm doing something else. If something gets my attention in a way that suggests that watching it would be helpful, I can do that, but I rarely sit down and do nothing other than watch a long video.

For that matter, I seldom WATCH movies, either. I listen to them and glance at the screen once in a while. I can even follow movies in German, Swedish, or any of the Scandinavian languages and follow the film while only glancing at the screen occasionally. I am far from fluent in any language other than English, so I won't pretend to understand that, but I do it often. It doesn't work when the film is in Japanese, Italian, French, or even Spanish, and Spanish is the one foreign language that I am at least somewhat familiar with.

Back on topic, though. The mainstream media is no more credible than the Democrat National Committee or any other Democrat propaganda organ, and Fox isn't a whole lot better. That doesn't mean I ignore them entirely, but I keep in mind that they are probably lying to me. Learning the difference between a news report and a pundit is also essential. That's hard to do because I don't think there's even a handful of news organizations in operation anymore.

That said, there are pundits who I trust not to lie to me, but they have opinions as well as agendas, so it's likely that I'm not getting the whole story from them. There is also confirmation bias, in that it is a lot easier to believe something that you want to believe. I think we're all caught up in that from time to time.

In the end, there are many things that we'll never know the truth about. Sometimes, we have to keep our minds open to hearing the stories and deciding which makes the most sense, and if it doesn't make sense, then I am not likely to accept it as truth. I do the same thing with doctors.

That was the problem with George W. Bush and his "jobs Americans won't do" nonsense. Illegals have reportedly taken over most of the construction jobs in the Southwest at least. GWB was saying Americans won't do construction? Total baloney.

Just be aware that Levin was a "Never Trumper" until recently I think.

Construction used to be a hard job but one that paid well and one in which someone could learn skills that would help them for the rest of their lives.

For the 2016 republican nomination he wanted Ted Cruz, and was a never trumper, until Trump won the nomination. He's been a strong supporter or ever since.
