Notice most of the low calorie frozen meals contain mostly pasta? It is not calories that build fat it is carbs.

Steven.. You are 100% correct about the carbs.. That's why the frozen meals are that cheap..
    Too much pasta or rice....

I agree either way these so called weight watchers / quick meals found in fridges / freezers in supermarkets …ive at times had a peek at thier contents for maybe a a easy meal when we’ve traveled to Queensland/ back and the vast majority are pasta or rice based.

What I call cheap and nasty :( labeled as low fat heathy food

I’ve eaten low carb since about 2010 when I lost 26 kg in weight ….if I can find a photo of before and after I’ll post them

I quite like some of the meals in the ultimate fast 800 book by Clare Bailey ..& Michael Mosley , Michael sadly died in grease this year by going out walking on an extremely hot day .

After switching from a high carb diet ( that caused my weight issues ) now days if I try eating more than a slice of bread 2-3 times a week I feel bloated …it’s not that I don’t fancy a slice of toast ever now and then but I only have 1/2 slice of good quality speciality bakery made bread who don’t add preservatives .

When I make my burgers, I use 3 containers of mince each are 450g which makes 2.35kg..
From that (after adding herbs and spices) I get about 14 to 15 burgers which I make in a burger press and I then freeze them.. That makes a rather large burger that I BBQ without any bun, just the burger..
I use either minced chicken or minced turkey and sometimes I will mix them together..

Neither of us like turkey ..and we’ve tried it at different places ..cooked different but can’t develop a taste for it…
What we’ve tasted is very strong compared to chicken, so we just ovoid it

@Ken Anderson has the system changed for posting photos ? I’ve never had issues trying to post photos in the past ..only a few odd ones that were to large but despite me editing some several times today the site still keeps popping up “ to large for server “

The servers are causing the picture problem, @Kate Ellery . The company moved us from the old server to a new one and then everything was working fine for a while and then we started getting the notices that pictures are too large, no matter how small they are resized to be.
Ken is working with the server people, but they do not seem to be responding to the problem very well.
At least, now we are not having the server problem where no one can get on the forum, so it is just pictures posted from our computers that will not load. Pictures from an outside source, like a photo sharing site, apparently will post.
This applies to even avatar pictures, so no one can change their avatar either, since you can’t upload the new one.

More need to comment and help keep the forum going, can't just come and read, sooner or later there will be nothing to read if we are just talking to ourselves.

Some sort of a concoction I made using up all the leftovers in the fridge..
B/S chicken breast cubed and cooked in an onion mushroom sauce..
Broccoli florets, sliced carrots, peas, cauliflower florets, sliced onion, and mushrooms steamed and then added to the sauce of the chicken to cook a bit more...... mini potatoes baked..
No dessert as there was lots of food to eat..
    Pot of tea well deserved.....

I eat as little as possible, although I do eat some then lift weights to bring sugar down.
I eat mainly chicken, tuna and berries. Baked potatoes lots of butter sour cream, some I cut to fry in butter, olive oil. Vanilla ice cream sprinkled with cocoa powder.
Open face rye bread sandwich, now that winter is approaching, I want to learn how to make rye bread. Easy simple recipe.
