John Brunner is making a joke. There are supposedly creatures called “chupacabra’s”, which are kind of like a hyena, but come from Mexico and South America. He just added candelabras to chupacabra and made it into a new word, since it is an unidentifiable bright light in the picture.
Oh; I wasn't sure, because; I didn't know what those words meant. He has some "big words", he can use at times. Thanks, Yvonne.
Not so sure what I will get done today; but have to make that decision, and get busy soon. I've been using this little Roomba, for vacuuming the porch. Our daughter gave it to me a few visits ago when she was down here, because she thought it was worn out and didn't work anymore. I fixed it, and it has helped with keeping sand off the porch; greatly. No more bending and walking, for a clean porch. Anyway; so many "projects", pop up and then there's your everyday, "projects"; it makes the decision of the most important, a little hard to decide sometimes.
Those Roomba’s are awesome ! We have one, but Bobby has a favorite chair that has a metal base around it so that the chair swings around, and the Roomba was always getting hung up trying to climb over the base of his chair, so I have pretty much quit using it. Plus, we have other stuff that we have to move before we can turn the Roomba loose in the living room, so I just use the regular vacuum.
Do you have a little blocker like this? Roomba Wall Barrier-Keep the roomba away from the areas you don’t want, make it working more efficiently with the virtual wall barrier. Move the switch to the virtual wall position, the device will create a linear barrier to block an area with a maximum width of 3 meters (10 feet). It does seem to help, when I don't want it getting hung up; I use it.
Ours works with an app, so i can tell the app where it can and can’t go; but the problem is just Bobby’s chair, and it is in the living room where we want the Roomba to go, so there is no way I can block that piece of furniture. At least I don’t think I can, I will have to look at the app and see, but I think that it just blocks rooms.
Got one of these for the van, codes I pulled up said the computer wasn't recognizing the O/D switch. Will see if this clears code.
Hunting season? There's a guy around the corner from me that sometimes gets his shotgun out and rapid fires 20 rounds or more. It's as though his day at the range is over and he doesn't want to take any shells back home. It's very odd.
It's hunting season, but these people were shooting off all kinds of guns; for hours, and had to be multiple people to be firing so many. Marie, came in while I was taking my bath, and said did you feel that? It shook my chair, of course I did. Must be using nitrogen and oxygen or something to have such a blast. Wonder how they can afford so much ammo?
Put the O/D shift handle on the van yesterday, will see how it works next trip out; then I will pull the codes again; and see if it "recognizes", the switch.
