Anyone buy/try this? Is it worth the money???

Going for a walk outside is great, depending on the weather and where you live. 99% of our walking now is done inside a grocery store, which is still "walking", but. I don't think we get nearly as much exercise as we should, then again the "but" comes into play. We saw this advertised on tv and see it on Amazon and I put it in my Wish List on Amazon.

We have got the Wii Game and games that go with it. When we had it set up, it helped us with exercise.

I think it sounds good Cody! I don't have cable, so I use internet TV (smart TV) and use Youtube videos to work out on occasion. It's handy and fun, but your Wii sounds good as well. Isn't it the Wii you can view Youtube on? I know there is something they have that you can watch Youtube as well as other channels. Floor stretches are also very good, and some things like Bird-dogs for balance etc. Some hand-weights/dumbells are truly amazing as well, or just your body-weight types like bird-dogs, planks. I'll see if I can put in a link to some pictures. They were super hard at first, but I stopped having bad balance issues:

These are super hard so be careful, improvise to suit yourself etc. But if you keep trying you will gain balance. like start just getting in the hands and knees position, then just reach with leg, and then the other, the later add in an arm:

You and your wife might have something set up already, an area for your workout equipment, but below is what I have room for ;)

It's encourages me to have it all neat and handy, and I just take what I need for whatever I'm following on youtube. For me it's like not having to do it all alone ;)

I've seen these advertised. They claim "You just relax & let the exerciser do the work for you." That's a hint. If the machine does all the work for you & you don't use any effort, how is it beneficial? It's sorta like you lifting weights by putting your hands on a barbell while someone else lifts it.

I've never tried one, but I've been curious how they work. If it requires muscles to lift and lower your legs, it hurts my lower back to watch someone use one. If your feet are strapped on it, and it essentially moves your legs for you, it seems it would be good to improve circulation, but not much else.

I have a leg exerciser but not the one Cody uses. I haven't use it much at all, I use my body to build leg muscles, weights for upper body.

I imagine there is some benefit because Physical therapists do at least some work on folks to help, oh shoot, I don't remember what it's called if you don't use your muscles for too long?? I think it's called Atrophy.

But I really believe in use it or lose it. As long as we can move at all, I can't recommend more some form of exercise.

The Wii Game we have we bought at Best Buyer some seven or so years ago on sale. The Wii Game, like the one we have, are no longer sold in stores and if they are, they are used. We have game discs and two hand controllers. Some of the games are: bowling, tennis and golf. However, there has to be enough room in a living room or other room in order to play the game, especially bowling and tennis.

Guess, with the cost of the Legxercise, just hooking up our Wii Game would be much less expensive.
