No, I am saying it worked for me. Everyone reacts differently to medications. There is a product I have used for 20+ years called "No Salt" in place of salt. Also read the labels to look for sodium content. Sodium is almost everywhere in our foods. You might want to ask your doctor to reduce the potency of whatever he/she is prescribing. It could impact the bad effects of the meds.
@Yvonne Smith , just took my first drink of Resource. I am drinking lots of water too, which I usually do most of the time. I only used one heaping teaspoon to make sure I can handle it. I'll build up the dose in a few days like it 4ecommended.
I just add some of the Kidney Restore to my coffee in the mornings, and also put some in fiber cake , and I think that I have tried it in tea also. It has definitely helped my kidney failure, which is part of the heart failure. When you get a new primary care doctor, they will do new lab works for you, and you can see how your kidney GFR ratio is, and then watch it after that if it shows a problem like mine did. I know I had the heart failure for years before some doctor explained to me that a bad heart can also cause kidney failure. By then, my kidneys were at around 35%GFR, and normal is well above 60GFR. They told me that neither the heart failure or the kidney failure would get better, it would only keep getting worse over time. However, low carb, whole real foods, and staying away from processed foods most of the time has helped a lot. Now I take the kidney restore and also mushrooms (Cordyceps) that are supposed to help kidneys, and they are doing better. My last lab shows the GFR is at 57%, so close to being out of kidney failure. When I got my first order, it came with ebooks to download that explains everything, so you should get an email about that soon, too.
Skipping your meds is not ideal. How many mgs in each pill? Long ago I was in the same boat on Losartan 250 mg. My doctor switched to 125 mg and I have been fine ever since.
It is definitely different as we age but not unexpected. I'll be 77 in January and the differences started showing up around 71-2. Most of my friends have passed and none of them gave much attention to their health.
I take half of 125mg. So does Jake and it brings it down considerately on both of us, sometimes into 60s D and 50s S. Last 3 days I cut coffee in half, this am BP was 126-73-70. .
I'm 75. I sprinkle cinnamon over oatmeal every morning too although it may not work if you drink lots of coffee and eat too much salt. I cut coffee in half, lowered salt intake. Research on Cinnamon's Effects on Blood Pressure Cinnamon has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. Renewed interest in traditional remedies has prompted formal study of potential benefits and safety.2 Some studies show promise, but it is important to remember that many of them are small. More research is needed before healthcare providers can recommend cinnamon supplementation.
