I just feel safer with Trump thna Biden et al. Our Senator Murkowski has already vowed to lead the resistance to Trump in the Senate.

We are mostly a right leaning state since the pipeline was built, but Murkowski was appointed by her father to take his place, and she has always been a lefty. I believe she was a Democrat before she had to run for the Senate. She would have been defeated by a Democrat running against her in her first actual election, but the dummy, who was leading in the polls as Lisa was so hated, flooded the state with college kids from California. I was getting 6 or more calls a day from young people who knew absolutely nothing about the State of Alaska. People got so disgusted by that tactic that they voted for Murkowski by default, and once she got her fangs of corruption into the state and the nation, it is almost impossible to unseat her because she has almost unlimited money (as Kamala did) and the state can be saturated by lies to keep her in office.

Senators get six years to prepare for reelection, and, given that memories sometimes last only a few weeks, they can spend that time voting against the interests of their constituents while shoring up the big-money support they can get from out-of-state. I think this is particularly helpful in low-population states like Alaska and Maine, where so many voters are not politically connected in any way. Out-of-state money can have a greater influence than in some other states. Knowing that GOP senators like Murkowski and Collins are more help to the Democrats than to the Republicans. the Democrat Party doesn't put up a serious candidate against them in the general election, either. Despite a high degree of voter ignorance, I am confident that the majority of Maine Republicans know that Susan Collins is not working for them, but she can depend on a lot of Democrat and Independent votes in the general election.

For a liberal, she makes sense, and she's funny, both characteristics that are absent from any Democrat I've heard from lately.
