I dragged out an old easy recipe for Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie and I'm going to make that for supper. It's one of those "makes its own crust" things. We used to like it but I haven't made one in a while so we'll see. Salad on the side.

Today it's homemade tomato soup with tuna salad sandwiches on croissant rolls. This time I added a splash of heavy cream to the soup so it is "cream of tomato"; it is SO good.

And ice cream , @Beth Gallagher ? Our local walmarts are all still out of eggnog, and they should have restocked. If we are going to have more eggnog, I guess we will have to get brave enough to go out in the cold and try Aldi’s , or maybe see if they do have eggnog at walmart and just not updated the app yet.

Yes; we'll be trying the eggnog ice cream this evening! I noticed on the eggnog container that it has an extended "use by" date so if you find some it should keep for a while. I read that eggnog can also be frozen to use later.
