"In a surprise move, Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta has contributed $1 million to President-elect Donald Trump’s 2024 inaugural fund, marking a significant change in the relationship between the ultra-woke tech giant and the incoming administration." -- Breitbart
I saw that. There are so many things that can be inferred. Perhaps Mark thinks he's buying indulgences for prior transgressions.
What the heck is this? It seems pretty twisted, to the point that I'm not sure who really said what: BREAKING: Surprise Trump post STUNS his own party Or was there a comment by Trump that was made purposely to tie the Blue No Matter Who crowd in knots?
Hopefully, the kookie Left isn't allowed to take over what should have been a win for common sense. As for the last video, it sounds like a couple of Leftists trying to make much out of something that was probably taken out of context.
Is there a source to Trump's own words? I see nothing elsewhere on this, nor is there any direct quote in the video...unless I missed it. And this video seems to date back to election night. edit to add: There's that 2024 Election Night banner, but the comments are current...and are all very anti-tRump.
He has flip-flopped so many times on this, I'm surprised anyone is paying any attention to him. Video from 2018 on Fox They must think he's trolling, because he is accusing the Democrats of wanting to get rid of the popular vote. Makes no sense. Post on Truth Social 3 days ago: LINK
It makes no sense. At a minimum, the system of Electors is in the Constitution. It can be changed, but only by amending the Constitution.
He was probably joking because he won the majority vote in November. Several prominent Democrats have indeed spoken of the Electoral College as unfair when the Democrats win the majority vote while the Republicans win the Electoral College, and many have suggested doing away with the Electoral College. Now that Trump won the majority vote, one might speculate that the Democrats are not so fond of the majority vote anymore. I don't follow Truth Social, and am not interested enough in Democrat talking points to get the bottom of it, but most Democrat outrage comes from something that would have been recognized as either bluster or a joke in context.
Oh, but it's "BREAKING!!!!" Such bullshit. I really HATE videos like that. The first moron claims that "Trump takes a stance" on the popular vote when he did no such thing. Apparently Trump posted about what the democrats said about the popular vote. I watched about 1 minute and clicked away, then cleared my youtube history so that stupid tripe won't pop up in my recommended videos that google loves to push. Who has time to watch all the tripe on youtube these days? I don't want anyone's opinion or twist; I want to hear the words come out of Trump's mouth and I will decide for myself. He's usually joking and the MSM along with dramatic youtube losers start clutching their pearls.
I just found it very confusing. Maybe it makes more sense if one follows those two knobs and understands their ways of making points?
Nancy Hart posted this link to the Truth Social post. I grabbed a screenshot of it: I tried to sign up for an account so I could read the comments, but you have to provide your cell phone number. You can call them to set up an account "if you don't have a cell phone," but I'm not gonna bother with that.
