I just saw this, and I really hope they are ok. @Yvonne Smith , maybe someone should call for house check. This is concerning.
Okay……. I called the police department. They will do a welfare check and call back and let me know. I HATE doing that, but we have hit dead ends any other way, and everyone here is so worried, so I hope that Ken and Michelle will understand and not be angry that I did that.
I'm glad you did that, Yvonne. I don't know why they would be angry about us caring about them. I hope we hear soon. I asked my husband to search for a Millinocket group on Facebook; he said there are 3 of them. I wonder if someone who has FB could check those out and maybe post about our concern? (I don't have FB.)
I joined one of them applied to another one, and have left messages for anyone who might know Ken or Michelle to please see if they are okay. An answer already ! A lady there said she knows Michelle and will call her ! !
Yvonne I really don't think they would be mad I mean after 8 days I mean come on. Yvonne and John know there no power outages ...Neither one of them are in the regional Hospital there, there's been no Eextremely bad weather so I mean we have every reason o be concerned.
I have always taken pride in the fact that I have never missed a roll call.....until now. With Yvonne's help, I have found the set of creaky stairs, that let to the dark hallway...coming upon the door that "is a jar"....and here I am in the Roll Call room! I will set a spell and collect my thoughts. - Joe
The lady who knows Michelle said she called her and left a message. She said she had seen Michelle 2 days ago, so that seems like a good sign. Maybe they are having some kind of WiFi problems and just not getting online messages. ? But apparently not answering the phone either, because the other lady who called had to leave a message. She said she will drive by and see if they are okay. Nothing back from the police dept yet, but they might be busy with accidents and stuff.
No one should get mad about calling law, after eight days; "IMO", hopefully they're o k, and you're doing the right thing. Hope we hear something soon.
That's good news that Michelle was spotted recently. I wouldn't worry about the neighbor having to leave a message. Could be lots of reasons. Thanks for doing this, Yvonne. Taking action and hearing this much quells my angst.
