I rarely monitor my Facebook account. I check my email often although it's easy to miss stuff because of all of the spam.
Gotcha. I think at one point you recommended that folks put "Seniors Only Club" in the subject line to make it stand out. I missed a couple of Merry Christmas emails from friends because of all the crap that I get.
My email address was designed to be easy to remember: kenanderson@kenanderson.net and my address and phone number are posted at the bottom of our About Page. Yes, I know that this doesn't help when the forum is down, but there is always the Wayback Machine, which doesn't manage to spider everything in the forum but the stable pages, such as the About pages, are there -- About Page in Wayback. I apologize for my absence. As I mentioned in another thread, I would have let everyone know what was going on via our Facebook page but someone has hijacked it. Yes, I used to monitor Facebook several times a day, but I quit doing that when Facebook started blocking pretty much everything that I posted on my Facebook account, and blocking me from accessing my account for a week once for something I had posted seven years earlier.
I'm sorry but did I miss the explanation here? The Forum has been down but it's also been up for the last couple of days.
I told him I'd let you know that I am alive and well, so that might be why they didn't return the call.
We're so sorry. We were acting like parents whose daughter was late getting home from her first date.
Oddly enough, it may have resulted in my wife being offered a good job that she is well qualified for but didn't know existed. I'll explain more if it actually happens.
When I managed vendors, worked trade shows, and hired people, I would always ask them to walk me through from the start of their careers to how they got to where they are today. The stories are fascinating. There are no straight lines. But this has got to be one of the crookedest I've encountered.
So as not to keep it a total mystery, someone called my wife because they had heard about the police doing a wellness check. While they were talking, it turned out that there was a job that she didn't know my wife would be interested in. It may or may not work out, though. Sometimes, talk is talk.
I joined a couple of the Millinocket facebook groups, in my efforts to find out if you and Michelle were okay. In one of them I was able to post and ask if anyone knew either of you and if they could check and see that you were both okay. A lady messaged me back and said she called and left Michelle a message, and would drive by later and check on you both. It might have been her, or someone else in the group that talked with Michelle. They advised me to call the police for a welfare check, and I responded that I had also done that. I don’t remember the lady’s name, and once you had come online and let us know you were okay, I deleted my message there and left the group . It would be awesome if Michelle gets the new job, and I promise not to call the police again, Ken.
That's all right. My wife called the cops on me once when I didn't stop cutting trees down on our land up north early enough for her and then had a flat tire. Since I quit trafficking drugs, that hasn't been a problem. Okay, I'm joking about the trafficking drugs part.
