Chocolate pie sounds good to me!:D

I'll put the recipe in the recipe section. I hope it makes sense. It is an old recipe I have had for a long time.

Leftovers today; spare ribs, mashed potatoes, green peas. (Now if I make shepherd's pie tomorrow I won't have any mashed potatoes to use.)

Slow cooked pork roast with potatoes and carrots. I don't care for pork, but the old guy that muttered I do back in the day, loves it. I didn't add his mama's recipe wine braising, half bottle of Worcestershire, or a handful of black pepper, as he likes it, and it came out good. I really liked it and sometimes I do amaze myself. He grumbled about lack of flavor so I handed him a bottle of Worcestershire, but he declined stating that if it isn't cooked in, it isn't the same.

Husband is still sick and coughing, so I'm heating the leftover chicken soup for him. I'll probably have a grilled cheese sandwich or something.

Braised pork chops with vinegar peppers, buttered noodles, green peas.

ETA--took a "Page" from Tony's book and made mashed potatoes to go with the Pork Chops with Vinegar Peppers instead of noodles. Turned out really good!

I've mentioned the restaurant where you order your entree and potato, then get your soup/salad/sides from a self-serve buffet. I make my dine-in meal from the buffet and take my entree home for later.

This afternoon I ordered a 10oz Ribeye (extra rare so I can reheat it) and a baked potato that came home with me, and had a huge salad, 2 bowls of chili, a few hot dinner rolls, and apple crisp w/ice cream on top for dine-in. I'm stuffed, and that steak will make 2 more meals. My belly is full, and my frugal side is happy. I don't care if it does make the waitress hope she never gets old.
