I have a big problem with our Government telling our Public Schools that they now have to allow transgenders to use the bathrooms and locker rooms in our schools according to which gender they consider themselves to be. I have no problem with making a bathroom or locker room for transgenders to use, but I don't see why our children and grandchildren should have to lose their rights here...and that is exactly what is happening. I am glad to see North Carolina standing up against this...and some other States now too. Our Government has totally lost all reason as far as I'm concerned.
I'm with you on this babs. I am having a really hard time accepting the fact that any one could think this should be accepted as normal. What the heck are these people thinking? Where did this idea that this is OK even begin to make sense in any ones mind? totally baffled by this and a few more of the politically correct ideas that have sprung up lately. I'm wondering if there is something they are trying to sneak by while they have everyone concentrating on this.

That is exactly what I have been thinking, @Chris Ladewig ; but then, I usually have on my trusty tin-foil cap and wonder what the conspiracy might be about. Even so, it does seem like almost everything is a disruption at this time. We have all of the stuff going on in the presidential election, and it is there whether a person is a Democrat or a Republican, and the Independants probably don't know which way to jump on this one either. We seem to have all gotten so accustomed to hearing about the attacks by terrorists that even that doesn't distract most of us for very long anymore. So now, it is the transgender thing that is being pushed as the latest topic to occupy people' minds and thoughts. What exactly we are supposed to be missing while all of the distractions are happening is the part that really worries me. I am sure that the "people in the know" are busy preparing for whatever it is; but the rest of us will be caught unawares when it finally happens.
I am extremely sure that the daughters of the present resident in the White House will not be accepting any boys or men in their girls restroom or locker room at school. For that matter, nor will they be eating ToFu for lunch which leads me to the second part of my small post. Today Dan Patrick, the Lt. Governor of Texas fired another shot across the bow of the Justice Department and the White House pen and phone chief. To paraphrase, he said that nearly 80% of the federal revenue that was alloted to Department of Education in Texas was spent on school lunches and breakfasts. He said that ultimately if they succumbed to the new bit of legalized federal extortion it would be the poorer kids who could not afford to have a meal that would suffer. Leave it up to our present top executive to figure out how to give the regular kids in our nation a bowl of gruel instead of a balanced meal all because of someone's unbalanced hormones or a young boys propensity to play with dolls.
