    The word "Safe" and "ISIS" just do not go together in my opinion. I also believe ISIS has "plants" already here in America...and has had them here for quite awhile. We will continue to experience more "Orlando" happenings and much more until our Government does a better job of stopping these terrorists before they have a chance to kill more people here in America.

    I know the threat is real and I'm sure they're everywhere but it's not something I worry about daily. There isn't much I can do about it personally.

    I already have my airline tickets for Illinois and I'm travelling on Sept.11. While some won't fly on that date it doesn't bother me, except security might be tighter and lines longer.

    I agree that even though the threat is very real, we can't stop living our lives @Chrissy Page. My oldest daughter's birthday is on September 11th...and we didn't stop celebrating her birthday on that day either.

    Obama invented ISIS and since he refuse's to call them Islamic terrorists its a clear indication he is one his self. your either for or against. if war is declared things change over night. not gonna happen. and still got 5 mons to do the maximum amount of damage as a goodbye kiss to us.
    to late now. they're here and fanning out looking for more targets. sleeper cells have been here for years. just waiting for the call. going back before the 93 WTC attack. Obama is the most dangerous threat to this country. and his partner in crime Hillary will be even worse.

    ISIS is something dreadful to non-Muslims although some Muslims here say that they also abhor ISIS. From the news reports lately, the Islamic extremists are establishing pocket stations in all countries they can, formal or informal organizations of believers in their ideologies. The southern part of our country is Muslim majority and there is already some arrests made in connection with those pocket stations being established. Even the bandit group called Abu Sayyaf which recently beheaded a Canadian tourist for failure to pay ransom is claiming connection with ISIS.

    In fairness to the Muslim community, Saudi Arabia is spending billions of dollars to crack the strength of ISIS in Syria and they are reclaiming the territory inch by inch. From what I remember the allied forces against ISIS have retaken Palmyra, a region where ISIS have a concentrated forces.

    ISIS is not just America's problem and it has to be dealt with everywhere. Americans travel all over the world and even if you keep them out of the US, they can get you in another country. It will always be a problem until it's totally eradicated and by that I mean ISIS not all muslims.

    We will never be totally safe anyway, get rid of one threat and another one replaces it. That's how I see it anyway.

    Yes, I agree Chrissy Page. It just seems like we never heard about these things when we were young, but I guess as the world grows larger, and more connected, yet less connected...I am talking about more internet connectivity and less family connection. It seems like.we are bound to see more of this. Some people too just seem they are mentally disturbed and anti social no matter how much love, support or treatment they get. It just takes one like this to create an awful lot of damage it seems.

    "How Safe Do You Feel About Isis"

    I have no particular fear of ISIS, or any other predatory group or criminal. (So long as my gun is still present).

    Except that a gun won't save you from a suicide bomber.

    @Chrissy Page

    How do you know that, Chrissy? The circumstances surrounding that future event's unfolding is unknown.

    I agree with Chrissy and K E too that it's a global problem of any terror group that is not willing to come to the peace table to try and live in peace somehow. I don't want to be run by any kind of terror group or gangster groups either. Locally we've had some weird crime like park toilets set to fire or totally destroyed, crops being sabotaged and destroyed ...not just one plant the whole crop within the last decade the crimes are building to be very violent ones too. Sometimes I feel that these crimes are from terrorists on the islands for the crime is senseless and very destructive and no normal people could do crime any way. As far as being safe I pray daily for protection for me and my whole family all the time.

    I don't know that but in that scenario you would be caught off guard and maybe not even see the bomber. That's my rational for saying what I did.
