Hi, I just wanted to share a link for a page that has a lot of ideas for making some extra cash.

    http://www.thepennyhoarder.com/45-ways-to-make-extra-money-online/

I really like this site. They have a lot of unusual, out of the box ideas for saving money, earning money or getting out of debt. I've tried more than a few of their suggestions and some work out better than others. Still, you never know which niche will work for you. Hope this helps someone. :)

Oopsie, didn't mean to capitalize "mish"!

I have just redeemed my second $50 gift card from YouGov, where you can earn points for taking polls, which can be redeemed for gift cards and stuff. It takes quite a while to earn enough points for a $50 gift card but the polls are mostly fun to take, and they don't take up more than a few minutes of my time about once a week. Of course, you can also cash out early for $5 or $15 gift cards, and there are a lot of others available besides Amazon.com but since I do most of my shopping through Amazon.com, that's the one I choose. Some of the polls are political, others are products based, and the ones you get the most of has to do, I believe, with demographics. My wife gets mostly political questions on her polls, while I get mostly product recognition questions, probably because she is a woman, or because she is Hispanic, or both.

Some friends are on a sideline with online work to earn extra money. Several of them are into surveys. It is a website where you are given a form to fill up. The survey is about a product or sometimes a service. They say that they earn in dollars so that's big money for us - 1 dollar is about 47 pesos. A college chum had joined a social media that pays the members. She would post a photo and earns from the likes. It is like Facebook except they pay the members for their effort of posting and ineracting with the post of others.

I am predicting that in the years to come there would be lots of ways to earn money from internet sites. Right now, that Google Adsense is a good means of earning. It is an advertising arm of Google where you can monetize your blog or your youtube video.

I earn cash and gift cards watching videos and taking surveys on Swagbucks. It is not much, I use the gift cards as gifts and some times I get the cash to have to go out to lunch with a friend. I also sell on ebay to make more money. I saw some other ideas on that list I may look into.

:oops:Thanks for the tip. I'll look into some of the things listed. I like making money online! Your site has just about everything there is to do to make money online. Many things listed I've never heard of before. I definitely will look into the site and what it has to offer. Making ends meet is getting harder as the years go by and your tip surely helps. Thanks again!

I usually don't go there until I get an email from them telling me a new poll was available. I've collected a couple of hundred dollars worth of Amazon coupons from them so far.

Thank you for the site, already re-join Swagbucks.

I also joined this one https://www.screenwisetrends.com/dashboard.php. I'm still waiting for my gift card. They are making some changes.

I have made over $140 on Swagbucks.com. Granted it is not a lot, but the e-cards help me run to the store and pick up milk and bread or buy a pair of capri pants if needed. It is easy, but takes time. Thank you for the website of Pennyhoarder. I haven't heard of it before and intend on checking it out.

One of the problems with all the sites that have polls and surveys is that they take up so much time and give so little in return. And yet, they are still out there as an income option for people who are unemployed or retired. Why? I can't tell you how many times I have been disappointed after starting a survey that promises a $20 Walmart card, or some other store. Then, 15 minutes into the survey, you see a bar at the top that's not even halfway completed and it's urging you...just a couple more steps and you're done...and then, to top it off--they want you to complete an "offer"--which costs you money.

    Grrrrrr! So frustrating.

Some other websites are: Bank Roll Bucks, Swagbucks, and Grindabuck. The only one I have tried is Swagbucks and it pays in electronic gift cards. They have been very faithful in paying me.

I'd kind of forgotten about PennyHoarder, thanks for the reminder. I also use YouGov. @Ken Anderson Did you or your wife take the recent political survey? I found it to be intrusive, asking how we've voted in about 3 elections, then requiring our name and address at the end...I Xed out of it and was very bothered. Our votes are supposed to be private, and I don't appreciate them leaving that to the very end. It should have been stated up front that full ID would be necessary to participate. Up until that time, I really enjoyed their polls and surveys. I'll go back over to PennyHoarder and see if there are any sites I can add to my daily tasks, since many have dried up for the Summer.

You may want to re-check this @Bill Boggs ... they're still up and running and I did my most recent survey with them... well, yesterday. :) *Sometimes* I re-visit a site after two or three years and my points that I gave up on are still there, so maybe it's worth a try for you?
