Okay, I've confirmed it. A California man got married in a Vegas chapel recent... he married.... ready for this, note it's not in the joke forum... he married his CELL PHONE. Oy! I was going to hyperlink one of the many sites carrying the story, but videos are giving me much trouble (along with my mouse double and triple clicking when I hit "like" on anything ) so I'll just say if you want to read it, just Google "man marries cell phone." It's strange... will he divorce every time planned obsolescence demands a new phone? Hmmm... oh, the questions this poses! Tongue in cheek there... it is not a legally recognized marriage... even in Vegas but bizarre all the same.)
Good golly Miss Molly ! Crazy guy A woman over here married a tree recently - now that makes more sense - you can hug a tree
Well if that don't beat all...what a really strange relationship this is marrying a cell phone...okay must be the cheapest reception in the history of marriage!
Maybe yes, hahahaaah. Some people will go to extremes just to get attention. But I have 2 stories to share on bizarre marriages. The first one is the marriage of a woman to her dead boyfriend. They are a celebrity couple in the internet and unfortunately the guy contracted lung cancer. They were posting their life (even during the cancer stages) in the internet so their fans were updated. And when the guy died, it was expected that there would be a marriage. That was last year. The second one is the trending news today about a popular female model who is married to a car racer since 2011. Now, for the catch, the car racer had recently undergone gender conversion (or whatever you call it). So the husband is now a she, sporting the name of Angelina.
Oh my goodness, @Corie Henson , that first one is... morbid! That couldn't possibly be a legal marriage... could it?! there's no groom! Can't wrap my head around it. Of course, a phone can't be a bride either. Or was the phone another groom? Wowzers! Now the second... that sadly isn't so bizarre in this day and age (oh no, that's one of my grandma's phrases... what's happening to me????!!!!!) So is the model going to.... well no, there are some questions that shouldn't be asked. I'll Google it instead.
Is that a good thing, @Patsy Faye ... or should I be scared? Extremely scared? Positively frozen with terror?
