@Chrissy Page "I did find this video about testing the shooting of the rifle."

Even better than the first, Chrissy! Appreciate the time you've spent finding it. Very revealing. I believe Warren Commission claimed Oswald fired all shots in 3 seconds or less, a feat remaining unduplicated since. I always felt Oswald was made a scapegoat, but doubted that he was not involved at all.....that would have been an impossible conclusion back then, when public trust in leadership, Congressional investigations, and such, was likely much higher than today. I have no idea on this conspiracy....it's fading from my memory as I saw it happen on TV. I've forgotten the numerous documentaries I've seen on it or national enquirer stories I've read.

He probably wouldn't be assassinated today, not many precautions were taken then.

Bobby and I did watch the documentary about the killing of President Kennedy, and it does a great job of explaining what was happening in the government , especially with Cuba and the Russians, at that time in history.
The possibility presented is that the CIA was involved in the assassination, and that Oswald might hve been working for the FBI at that time, and so he was set up as a patsy for the killing.
There is a lot of information about the supposed bullet that hit the President, and also the rifle that was supposed to have been used by Oswald, that @Frank Sanoica will not want to miss !
If the CIA was part of the anti-Castro group, and Kennedy was trying to keep the peace with both Cuba and Russia, then it is possible that he had J. Edgar Hoover send Oswald into the CIA operation to try and find out what was going on there. Being arrested (and then killed) certainly stopped Oswald from telling anything that he knew about what the CiA was doing.
Anyway, it was a pretty interesting movie, and who knows whether it is right or not; but just watching it does help shed more light on what was happening in the government at that time, and why they would want to kill Kennedy.
The whole documentary is on Youtube, and here is the link.

Thank-You for the, Dark Legacy Trailer. I've seen the Warren commission investigation documentary, and felt it being fabricated. When the movie JFK came out made some sense. It was about, New Orleans, and the Garrison Investigation, that and the Clay Shaw trial.

I was at work when the assassination happen, and time studied a machine. It was always noisy, when one of the machinist was trying to tell me what happen. He had one of the most terrified look on his face. I thought something awful happen around us. Coming out from back of the machine, men and women were in total shock. I seen two deaf mutes crying and signing, the death of President Kennedy.

If you liked the trailer, @Marilyn Pahl , the link for the whole movie is also posted in my post just above your post. It is a very interesting video, and does a great job of explaining their theory of what might have happened and why it happened.
This assassination has always interested me, and I try to watch all of the videos that present different possibilities of what really happened.
While it was possible that a lone nut killer might try to kill the president, most of the facts do not seem to support that story.

The latest scenario that I read was that the fatal head shot came from an AK-47 type weapon in the follow-up car, accidentally fired by a replacement Secret Service agent. The agents had been out partying the night before and got back in the wee hours of Friday morning. The agent assigned to the backup car and weapon was replaced by a less experienced agent, who ran the motor pool for the SS vehicles. He stood up, just as the car lurched and his finger on the trigger , with the safety off, fired one round of heavy caliber ammo, which hit Kennedy in the head. There is one picture of the agent with the weapon raised, and later at the hospital, inside. His name was George Hickey.

That's the hardest one to believe in my opinion. Wasn't the street lined with people? I'm sure that would have been noticed.

Was this guy accused or questioned?

An SS agent isn't worth all the trouble to go to all the trouble of a cover up. I'm sure nobody would care if he went to jail for shooting JFK if he really did it.

Kind of like friendly fire ....it happens.

I agree with you about that, @Chrissy Page . If the SS agent had accidentally shot the President, it would have been a huge news story, and even if it was accidental, he would have been tried for something.
Also, there is all of the other facts of the shooting, and what is the likelihood that he would have fired at the exact time and place where Oswald was supposed to have been waiting to kill Kennedy.
Plus , people heard more than one shot, and other people were also hit, so the so-called magic bullet story would have to have been stretched even further.
I also think that, while possible, what is the likelihood that the agent would stumble and shoot a bullet that happened to be a head shot to the president ? Unless he had the weapon already aimed directly at the president, it does not seem probable that he would shoot him with a fatal head shot just by chance.

I had a chance to see the whole documentary tonight. Wow this one is really thought provoking. They think Nixon, Bush family, others in those past administrations were in on it. When visiting relatives in Mobile Ala. everything was Clay Shaw, Jim Garrison is really gonna nail Shaw. Then when the movie JFK came out it was about the conspiracy theory. Garrison was so bent on destroying Shaw,he wanted to hit hard at something. There wasn't anything else he could do, his hands were tied and people were so tight lipped. Garrison lost that trial. I wonder today if Garrison was alive what his thoughts would have been.....

The most way-out-there theorization I've seen! Thanks for it! Only problem I have with it, is why was the SS agent, no matter what degree of experience, pointing the weapon in JFK's direction, with his finger on the trigger, safety off, unless he intended to kill Kennedy?

Surely, he would have known that in such close proximity to the motorcade, he would be seen. How much dough would have had to be offered to an experienced "professional" to attempt such a thing? Unless, unless of course.....like Jack Ruby he knew he had terminal cancer, or terminal lack of brainpower. Pictures as you describe are today easily "phonied".

I just can't buy it, Joe. I'm sticking with LBJ.

@Frank Sanoica The most way out theory, is that he was shot by his driver, Bill Greer.;):D

Yes, I either read that or saw it in a documentary. It was some time back so it wasn't in someone's Facebook post.

I alway thought it was a mob hit, ordered by LBJ, and all the others. When Hot Springs Arkansas all but shut down in the late 50's. JD Rockefeller, was going to rid the place of mafia, corruption. Owney Madden (mafia kingpin in Hot Springs, Rockefeller was really after). Dad and Uncle went to Havana Cuba (1958) to open a bath house. The place dad said, was the most lush place he'd ever seen. Run by mafia,(it was easy for mafia to fly into Cuba from Sicily then coming into the US) until the overthrow of the Cuban government, and Castro took over. Who had the most to loose the Mafia, and our presidents of the past, LBJ that had involvement with the mob.Kennedy was going to crush them, and
Bobby Kennedy was too. Both assassinated. This was a methodical plan and wouldn't surprise me one bit the replacement agent wasn't a mob hit man. When Bobby heard word of his brother, and said, "They got him" who was he referring to,"They." He knew....This article makes sense to me. Thank-You Joe.

It is interesting, in the case of Bobby's death, that the fatal head wound was from close range and made by a higher caliber bullet. One theory is that the Security guard behind him pulled out his 38, and fired it in the excitement, hitting Bobby. A telling photo showed Bobby lying on the floor, with the guard's clip on tie on the floor, beside him. The guns in the room were never checked, to see if they had been fired.

Bobby Kennedy was the Mafia's worst enemy. What involvement did J Edgar Hoover have in all this? He was more then dragging his feet. And had a distaste for the Kennedy family. Some papers I've read, mentions how much Bobby hated Hoover and Hoover hated Bobby. Just my personal opinion, what happen to Bobby was also a mob hit, both assassinations with scapegoats.
