I am not listening to music. Instead I am listening to an app that has a variety of sounds recorded. For example, it has crickets and chirping frogs, rain in the city, and rain in the forest. I like to listen to it and let my imagination go where it will.
I love music, but I don't listen to it all the time. WHen I was in the car, I was tuned to the classic rock station, so many of my old favorites were on. I love and adore music from the 80's,,and whenever something from that era comes on I am usually happy. I also like 60's and 70's music, but the 80's had some tunes I really loved.
I have NO idea where this came from.... I was only 12 1/2 when it was recorded, so... I don't know why it's in my head because I wasn't that much into music yet at that age! Anyhow, I was thinking of @Ike Willis 's Bon Jovi song and this one started playing in my head. This group only ever had one hit... this is it!
Wowzers... how did you do that?! So you put that in my head somehow, eh? I must caution you that it can be a very scary place in there, @Ike Willis ... Proceed with extreme caution. Seriously, I joke about things like that, but they always creep me out pretty badly... maybe we're long-lost relatives or something connected by ESP and ancestor memories. I always try to justify weird happenings, so maybe you said her name somewhere in the forum in the 6 months I've been here and I subconsciously remembered it? Yeah, we'll go with that. Hey, Ike... wanna play the lottery with me?
Found her here working as a car hop. I was banned from there one night, for littering their parking lot with beer cans. I still had my old blue Plymouth coupe. Some pals and I were there, ordering fries and onion rings, but no drinks. We had a case and half of suds with us. The empty cans we rolled under my car. When we left, all our empty cans were exposed. The drive in's owner was irate, saying next time that blue coupe shows up, he's calling the cops. I had to ride there in some else's car the rest of the summer.
I haven't either! So I listened to some Whitman... Indian Love Call was included, so that (ya'll are beginning to see how my mind works!) reminded me of another song I used to like. Remember this one?
Oh yeah, I remember that one. Long ago, I made a tape of every Hank Williams song I could find, so I could listen to hank songs back to back. Don't have it now. I had to trade my recorder and an old shotgun for a tank of gas in Wyoming. The tape went with it.
While driving, I have been listening to a radio station that plays 70's and 80's music. It is nice to run errands and sing to every song that is on the radio.
