Well, yes. The issue is with us and if we didn't have that issue we wouldn't likely have nuclear bombs, etc. Guns maybe. For hunting, but not for wars. Though we might likely still have nuclear energy. So, I'm not saying that it's the fault of the technology, just that I wish we hadn't developed these particular things which we now cannot get just rid of. It's doubtful, too, that we will ever rid ourselves of what's in our hearts. We certainly can't wish it away. We can only wish that we could. And I do. Wish that. I also have the belief that God can fix our hearts, but only if we're willing. As a whole, the world will never be fixed.
I don't think that the fault lies in our hearts, as many of those "moral criminals", as I named them, truly believe that what they are doing is the right thing to do, even if the right thing is eliminating "infidels". Instead, the problem lies in our very core, in our primal instincts. Even animals become aggresive sometimes, so why wouldn't we?
You do have a point as our hearts can definitely be in the right place while our actions are otherwise; but I still wouldn't go there 100%. I tend to go with the fault being in the heart most of the time. It's just the way I see it.
Well, you might be right, after all. Many times, and I believe I am not the only one, I've done something, thinking that I am truly doing the right thing. Only after a few weeks or months have passed, after some introspection, I thought about what I had done and thought that it wasn't right. So I guess that everything we do is really random, as are our feelings: we are complex and complicated creatures with flexible points of view.
