@Arlene Richards I really would need to know more to comment, as I have all but given up on politicians of all kinds! Frank
At RNC he refused to endorse Trump. Um, there's no need for you to commett, Frank. Reminder - you said you were going to steer clear of my threads. Anyway... I'm also proud of Ohio delegation and Governor Kasich, who refused to set foot in the door.
Rest assured, in future elections the likes of Cruz, Kasich and any others who reneged on their promise to support the chosen candidate, will be remembered.
If Cruz were a gracious man instead of a Harvard lawyer, he would have made a point of endorsing Donald Trump in certain terms with no codicils, no footnotes, and no lawerly ifs, ands or buts. If Ted Cruz were a gentleman, he would have said let bygones be bygones, which Trump did by allowing him to speak. Or will we find out later that some of the Trump haters (who are likely Cruz haters as well) maneuvered Cruz into speaking to make the whole party look bad. Cruz had a chance to say the right things, and he said many right things, but it is what he refused to say that he will be remembered for and by many despised for.
It didn't help Cruz at all, everything I've read so far has been negative. Also is a positive for Trump who knew exactly what he was going to say and do and let him speak anyway. Trump was the winner is this one in my opinion.
Cruz is a man who wants it both ways and ends up with neither. He is a loser.....and a poor one, at that.
Actually, once a thread has been started, I think that it is open for anyone to post in, and not up to the person who started the thread to decide who can or can't express themself in that thread. Unless something is posted that is out of order for the forum, anyone can post in whatever thread they want to post in; but if I am wrong about this, @Ken Anderson can explain what the rules are about "owning a thread". In any case, your rudeness to another member of this forum ( @Frank Sanoica ) is totally uncalled for, and Frank's comment and implied question was a totally acceptable one.
Last Tuesday, Ted Cruz was on Air Force One with Obama, Biden and Hillary. I wonder if that's when he wrote his Benedict Arnold speech? For the record, anyone is free to read these threads and every forum member is welcome to participate.
Yes, which I suppose in some people's eyes trumps proving in front of God and everyone he is a liar. Par for "their" team.
