I've made Banana Blueberry Bread, and other types of Lemon breads, but I don't think I've made a View attachment 12508 , and this recipe caught my eye. The picture looks really inviting, and the berries look sweet and juicy. I bought another batch of blueberries the other day when I was at the store, so I have plenty here to make this. Today's probably too far gone to start on another project, especially one that will heat up the whole house, but I'm hoping to make this soon.
Looks so moist and delicious, but the link comes up error when I clicked it. Will look up other recipes about it. Lemon bread sounds so good. I love lemon cookies and found a baker that bakes it the way I like it at our farmer's market on Fridays here at Ft. Street Mall right in the heart of town. I buy only their 3 pack for I shouldn't eat too much sugar foods. Love lemon recipes!
@Diane Lane Blueberries are wonderful! I bought and planted about 8 bushes for my parents in Michigan long ago, my Dad's illness worsened, and they remained there only 1 year, in a nice, brand-new little home they had built. They returned to the Chicago area, where I and my sister lived. So, I never got to see if any berries were produced. 40 years later, my wife & I happened to be visiting her Mom in Indiana, and we decided to go up to Michigan on our way back to Missouri. I found the old place of my folks', a lady was out back, saw me stop, and I "chickened out' at the thought of talking to her. Afraid I was going to bawl...... Frank
I don't know what happened with the link, but here it is. I ended up making the bread yesterday. I left out the nuts, because I didn't have any, and it came out really delicious. I actually was in a rush, and forgot about the glaze. I might make that later and add it, but the bread was yummy with just a little butter on it and a cup of tea. Hopefully that link will work. @Frank Sanoica I can understand that. Were the bushes still there, or could you not tell from where you were? I always get a lump in my throat when i see my grandmother's house or the house I grew up in, that my folks had until after my dad died.
The place was totally overgrown with foliage and when I planted them they were about the only thing growing higher than grass. I have kicked myself quite a few times for not talking to the lady. Frank
