It's all true but I'm just covering my a**. I have a reputation as an angel....can't be mean now...can I?
@Ken Anderson Suppose "Free Speech" rights do not extend to appearance, which might be defined as a part of "speech"?
How does one tell a tranny costume from, say, a princess costume or a stewardess or witch costume? In the name of equality, I think all such costumes, as well as any other traditionally female costumes, need to be pulled!
The statewide news on the radio here has been focusing on clowns, and all day yesterday, every hour on the half hour, they ended the clown segments with this: "If you see a clown and feel scared, call 911." Is this what we've come to?
I'm scared of police, and I demand the same treatment of people with other silly phobias! Though I'm pretty sure it's going to cause some problems. For example, who will I call when I feel scared by a cop?
Until this very morning, I did not understand the fear of clowns. But then I saw this, the mother of all scary clowns! I'm currently typing this from underneath my bed.
The creepy clown thing has been in the news pretty much everywhere for the last couple of months. We had a whole school closed down here in Alabama because of people costumed as creepy clowns scraring kids, and some places have apparently said that they thought the clowns were trying to lure the kids into the woods or into a van. Even Australia is having issues with this happening, so it is not just here in the United States. With halloween coming at the end of this month, there will be all kinds of people in costumes; so it would be even harder for anyone to tell which were just people having fun, and which ones might have sinister motives. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...gs-hoaxes-lead-arrests-across-country-n657956
It's too bad that Halloween has to be ruined for some by a few sickos. I always went with my kids and so do my kids go with their kids and all candy is checked first but these are pretty decent neighborhoods so no razor will be in it but they just check anyway out of habit.
