Any time my DH was in the hospital, all the pretty nurses called him "Sweetie, Honey or Darling". @Sheldon Scott, I hope your nurses are as nice as his were. I hope you have a quick and excellent recovery.
Nothing new on his Facebook page, either, @Joe Riley . He should be coming home soon, according to the last post he left us before he went in on Tuesday for the surgery. I remember back when I had my broken leg, I had an awful time walking with the walker, and it was even longer before I could walk with crutches, and I was a lot younger when that happened to me. They may just be keeping @Sheldon Scott until he can get around well enough to go home. They should require having an iPad before they admit a patient into the hospital, so he could let us know how he is doing ! !
Still nothing on his FB page. I left a message asking how he is doing and encouraging him to let us know how he is doing when he does get back home. Since the operation itself should not be that dangerous, I am still thinking that it is because the knee hurts too much for Sheldon to be able to get around yet. Walking on crutches is not that easy, at least it was not easy for me. When I had the broken leg, I was in the hospital for over 8 days because I couldn't move around, even using a walker, let alone walking with crutches. Plus, I was in so much pain at first, i was way too dopey to even try getting out of the bed and hobbling down the hall.
Maybe Sheldon's just waiting until he's feeling in tip top shape to come back. I know I don't always feel like getting online and posting when I'm not feeling well. He's probably busy with other things, and will be back soon. Still praying that all went well and he's feeling better soon.
We're all Missing you Sheldon....hope everything went well, and you're recovering nicely...take your time coming back, just concentrate on getting well, but know we're all thinking of you..
I'm back. Got home Thursday afternoon but still in pain and haven't felt like getting on the computer. I'll try to catch up on things later.
As long as we know you're ok Sheldon....take all the time you need to get better and we'll see you when the pain has eased much more
