Evidently, the idea of the movie was to introduce a means to provide food to an ever-increasing population unable to get enough? I'm surmising, from what I've heard. Never saw the movie. I look at the problem differently, then. If there are too many people for Mother Earth to feed naturally, through crops and animals, then the answer is elimination of people, certainly not means of accommodating them all, which obviously introduces the problem of even MORE people, due to the human instinct to reproduce. 'Course, elimination of people is a rather harsh pill to swallow, so sterilization comes to mind, as an alternative. Too bad "Uncle Joe" Stalin, as Harry S. Truman referred to him, didn't consider that alternative, to the brutal murders of millions, at one point in time they being shot in the back of the head above long pits, into which they fell, dead. I'll provide references, later. Right now, I can't think straight. Frank
Long ago, when I still read books about explorers and wild places, I came across an article about cannibals. An old man who had admitted he ate parts of some of his enemies killed in battle was asked what part of a person did he like best. He said the hands tasted best to him. I wouldn't think there was much to eat in a human hand. Just a little finger food.
You gave my my first laugh of the morning @Denise Happyfeet! Now my good morning post will be cheerier! Too funny and sadly Chrissy Cracker sounds perfect but if I change it will be to Cross....everybody knows I'm crackers.
