No, but I have some nice long nightgowns and bathrobes. I do sometimes wear PJs in the winter since it's colder, but I typically prefer nightgowns/shirts. I'm still considering buying film for some of the other windows, the ones I never open. I could probably leave it on year round here, to keep out the heat/cold.
Woohoo, good luck, Everyone!! I got my drapes the other day, absolutely love them. The kitties & I slept a bit later, since the bedroom was warmer and somewhat darker.
Okay the eligible members are locked in. It might be a while before I can set up for the drawing because I have some things that I have to do first, but it will be today. There are seventeen eligible members, two less than last month, so your chances are greater. 1 -- Holly Saunders 2 -- Steve North 3 -- Louise Williams 4 -- Kate Ellery 5 -- Joe Riley 6 -- Diane Lane 7 -- Shirley Martin 8 -- Terry Page 9 -- Yvonne Smith 10 -- Patsy Faye 11 -- Ruby Begonia 12 -- Paul Sparky 13 -- Frank Sanoica 14 -- Denise Happyfeet 15 -- Von Jones 16 -- Ike Willis 17 -- Ina I. Ken, in the event that my name is chosen, I have made arrangements with Bob Dylan to accept my prize for me. Please be patient.
We have a winner... Congratulations, @Frank Sanoica! Let me know, by private conversation (either this account or my Ken Anderson account) what your email address is and I will send your gift card out to you.
Geez! What the hell have I done to deserve this?? Every "bestowment" in my life has been revealed after the fact as being a scheme to solicit my money! I am overwhelmed! Frank
Awright now. How might I be worthy of this? My other forum affiliations have largely taken dim view of my personal convictions, several saw fit to "kick me out", the first time it happened I was bewildered. My home town Chicago suburb of Berwyn had by the time I joined their Forum, become inundated and driven by P.C. experts of manipulation. Early, I felt as though I was talking to neighbors I knew as a kid. Then, it became a pitting of old-timers still hanging in there vs. newcomers of the new Democratic class. I learned about public forums there. The chastisement, bickering, thoughts of new residents beleaguering my remembrances from there many years earlier. I realized things had changed, and would never be the same again. Recently, I was PM'd by a Berwyn resident, a lady who found my posts interesting, and we corresponded. Between the year my folks bought the house I grew up in (1941), and now, conditions in that little Chicago suburb have changed so drastically as to make it become only a foggy memory, for me. Frank
Congratulations Frank, spend it wisely , we all deserve rewards from time to time, no need to question it
