Cor blimey - took me ages to find this thread  :p

Using me 'tailor scissors' this morning I thought - yea this is a 'great' buy
I have used them for everything from cutting a rug to cutting up me slippers this morning :p
I got those ballet pump slippers, so light on the feet, but I have to cut the toe ends off
so they're like mules but still have the back heel - I'm a clever girl I am  :p

Wish I'd thought of it years ago, no more red fingers just pure ease of cutting - bliss ! :)

Best for me are lithium-ion (Li-ion) powered tools including my lawn mower and edger. The one I use the most is a battery powered hand drill. The old Ni-cad power tool batteries were bulkier and heavier and sloooowly died and after a couple of years they wouldn't hold much of a charge The Li-ion tools are lighter and have full power until the charge is depleted and they seem to last forever. The Li-ion batter for my lawnmower is a bit smaller than a small loaf of bread and weighs maybe five pounds and has enough charge to mow my small lawn twice before recharge. No more gas cans and mixing oil and gas for the edger! Free! Free at last!

Same here @Ted Richards . I have a Ryobi chainsaw and weedeater that use the same battery. No more wearing myself out trying to get one started.
