First read about it as a teen on a Reader's Digest article ... now the Sci Fy channel has a series following the digging exploits of two brothers intent on using the highest technology /equipment possible to solve the puzzle ... and people have been trying for a few hundred years including some top Hollywood stars like John Wayne for one ..... Its obvious some serious thought went into the original build judging from what was found concerning the layered platforms, the coconut fiber that is not even native to the area within thousands of miles, etc ... I sometimes feel it's an Alien testing experiment to see where we are progressing with both intelligence as well as mechanical and/or abstract technologies .... Yes I do believe other life is possible and does not interfere in my mind to anything stated in the Bible .... God just created us and also other life of a type on other worlds too .... sometimes I believe some people's idea of God is just too small .... He was /is here forever , He couldn't possibly have just sat around mooning about the creation of just earth and man before He created us. It's like going to a movie that states it features both Mario from videogames, as well as Sean Connery and you walk out dissapointed that Mario was not fighting either barrels or a Gorilla and Sean was not a British spy .... I wish there was a Bible called "the NEW adventures of God !" (lol)
That's a favorite show at my son's house so I've only seen it when visiting them. I agree about it being a money pit! I haven't seen it in at least a year so don't know anything new.
@Michael Santi My wife watches the show religiously, but since I watch but little of any T-V, I cannot express much opinion beyond my observation that the presentations are rather overly-dramatic and drawn-out. Frank
No show draws out every small action like that one I agree .... but in 200 years, if anyone is going to solve that crazy underground maze, I think it's going to be these 2 brothers.
