Its like Ground Hog Day in films ..........

Someone taking a pill, 'always' throws their head back (I don't and I won't)

Walking fast down corridors, especially if you're a lawyer

'I'm taking you off the case - you're too close to it'

And if someone's upset, they slide down a wall !......... o_O

Think of any more ? ..............

Haha, they do though in many films
A woman (usually) who's very upset and crying will slide down a wall to continue her grief on the floor
I won't do that, trouble getting up again .............:p

I 've been watching a lot of old westerns lately and there's always a scene with a lake/river /creek where some some stupid (tall, gorgous) woman will wander away from the camp/wagon / ...take off her clothes and have a swim/wash ...even tho' the area is crawling with injuns, outlaws etc and of course one of the 'baddies' will try and take advantage so the good guy comes to the rescue ... honestly, nearly ev'ry movie I've seen lately has this happen ...

The pill thing. I don't either. I have to swish them with water in my mouth and then swallow.

I've mentioned it before, but I have seen more than a couple of dozen movies where a woman is trying to escape from a killer in the forest (or in a dark house). It's dark, and it's a forest, so the killer wouldn't have a chance of ever finding her is she would only shut up. Instead, she is loudly crying or whining, which is how we're supposed to know how frightened she is. All she would have to do is hide behind a bush or tree and shut up, and she'd be home free. Instead, she hides behind something but doesn't shut up. It's an insult to women because they rarely show men doing that.

That's another one that drives me insane...a great adventure or detective story...james bond style..and the woman ALWAYS trips..even if she's got no heels on... arrgggghhhh !!!! Why?....I can run.. and when I was young I could outrun most boys...why does the woman always have to be weedy and fall over? ..and then in the next scene she'll be fighting like a man... Vis a vis Emma peel etc.. but always they trip ... sheesh!!

When mum's prepare breakfast, which is usually not just toast, but scrambled eggs, bacon, etc., hubby and the kids always seem to arrive at the breakfast table right before hubby has to head off to the office, and the kids have to catch the school bus, or the like. They usually just have time for a sip of coffee or juice, and maybe one bite of toast.
Such a waste of food! :)

..... and they fall into bed without removing make up. wake up next morning looking adorable with carefully tousled hair, make up intact, no smudgy eyes etc ... unlike real life where most of us (?) look like we've been dragged thru' a hedge backwards ( me, anyway)

Exactly my thoughts! Similar to this, in horror movies, at the beginning of the movies whenever they hear a horrible, animal like, unatural sound coming from the basement/ other rooms/ attic etc. they always go towards the noise. I just get so mad, because I already can predict the end of the movies and the character's death! Its beyond frustrating. Is it just me that would not go towards the dangerous sound and run the other way?
