C'mon @Chris Ladewig have you thought of anything yet?...don't let all of us be dopey doris's on our own, lol
I have also tried to unlock someone else's car thinking it was mine, lol. I remember one in particular ....it was at a garage sale. I went to what I thought was my car parked in the street and put my key in or tried to....a few times without success until I looked in the car and saw it wasn't mine. I was so embarrassed and hoped the owner didn't see me or that I didn't damage their lock with my attempts. This was with my old Altima ...had to put the key in the door to unlock it.
Ah but, have you ever tried to unlock an elevator With key in hand, I approach the lift and instead of pressing the button I try to insert me key - which is 'impossible'
The car story reminded me of my car story. I went to Food Lion and parked in the park closest to the store. I came out, walked over to my car and pressed the button to open the trunk. ..... Nothing.... I kept pressing...... nothing. So I pressed the button to unlock the doors...... Nothing. So I walked back to the back of the car to try the trunk button again. Then I saw that the bumper had some kind of sticker on it. Mine doesn't have a sticker. I looked around and there in the next lane and in the park closest to the store was my car. The sticker was the only difference. I have seen that car several times since then but haven't tried to get into it.
Was going to make tea yesterday in my Mr Tea maker. Took the canister down took out two tea bags. Then opened a new box of tea bags to put in canister. Once I got canister back on shelf- noticed I had left two bags out. After putting them back in the canister..oh wait those were the two I was going to use to make the tea. Lolol my Dopey Doris moment
OK Like Chrissy I stopped at a garage sale and locked my keys in the car when I got out. I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to get in my car. I had half the yard sale people trying to help me. After about fifteen minutes I remembered I had keyless entry.
