So........ are you saying that it might explode when he takes it back out, like the pop does, @Chrissy Cross ? Maybe he should leave it there and try to "remote access " it just in case. Sort of like mental telepathy, only with his own mind.
I have decided not to have any more memories. They're generally too truthful and in the light of what is now in vogue, I will have memoires instead. Hillary Clinton has one. B. Obama has one. Michele Obama is coming out with one and I am pretty sure that the attendant for the executive restroom at the White House should be coming out with one. All the rage is having a memoire rather than a memory and it sounds...........so, so uh.....what's the word...ostentatious and elegant. Yeah, elegant. A memoire is different from some casual memory in that they do not have to be non-fiction. They can obviously be anything one wishes them to be and no one is the wiser and as a matter of observation, most folks seem to like them better than plain memories. It's the difference between an 8mm home movie and the same movie in 3D whereby embellishment is honored. And, with a memoire, there's lots of room to play around and people actually pay for them when they are in print. If you lose a memory, then there is a problem but if one loses his or her memoire, we can just develop another at a whim. Though not necessarily one to make a fashion statement, I think I might try the more seemingly first class memoire out for a spell and see how it pans out.
A faulty memory can be a plus if you're called up in front of a congressional hearing. It's all the rage with politicians and bureaucrats.
