It Goes To Show That Violence Exists Even Without Guns

This article headlines that London has beat New York in violent deaths for the first time. It shows that violence appears to be rising in society regardless of the weapon. Chicago a few years ago had more murders by Baseball Bat that by any other weapon. In London, apparently it is the knife that is the weapon of choice.

Register knives, then. And outlaw baseball bats, or at least register them all. Then it will become evident to the lawmakers that clubs will be cut from tree limbs, thus necessitating the regulation of wood saws.

See, this nonsense is never-ending, so long as a chosen few are allowed to "lord it" over the people.

I've given up on some of humanity. It seems we just have so much violence. Even look at those who state they are for "social justice" SJW's Antifa, other groups, people. In the end, they can turn to violence and utter hate themselves. It just seems so weird.

Where are the firearms likely being obtained? If possession and sale is illegal, there must exist a "black market" similar to the U.S. drug market. And, if homicides outside the U.S. are escalating recently, as news reports seem to indicate, why would this be? Is the entire world becoming a mindless miasma of murderous intent?

You can buy guns in the UK...shot guns.

If in public they have to be in a carrier/bag.

When stored at home they have to be kepted in a lockedable cabinet

There was an spike in guns after WW2 being brought in.

And after the end of the Yugo war.

In my young days in the 50s the gangs who carried knives would just cut the faces of the other gang members.

Now a days they kill them.

WHY because we don't have the death penalty any more...... for murders by Guns or Knives.

Yeah, that investigation is still going on. At one time there was a report of two shooters, but the cops say they presume that the female was the only shooter, and that she committed suicide. Overall, gun violence is dropping in the U.S. over the past 20 years or so, but you wouldn't know that from the headlines you see. FBI statistics show gun deaths down, and, ironically, they are decreasing fastest in the areas that have the most liberal concealed carry regulations.
