When I saw that I couldn't log on yesterday, I was afraid I'd been banned for being rude to Shirley!

Thank goodness it was just a brief forum downtime!

I sent you an email (and also one to @Frank Sanoica ) early this morning, because I was worried that both of you might think you had been banned. It turned out that lots of people were concerned about that, so just join the group and celebrate the return of the forum along with the rest of us here, @Hal Pollner .

(But please be nice to Shirley in the future, she is a sweet lady and we don’t want to hurt her feelings. )

I thought one of those rude people from that other Forum had hacked into Ken's and banned us all! :)

I only noticed the site was down 1/2 hour before I went to bed last night

Being banned, the first time, is like dispersing a crooked politician to perdition: difficult for both sender and the sent.

After that, it gets easier with every one.

I was banned from an Airgun forum many years ago, and no amount of diplomatic reasoning could get me back on.

I'm sacked for life from that bunch!

I believe I understand; as we age, we become insome ways mellower, while at the same time we become cantankerous, crotchety, set in our ways. Or, is it just me?

With all the guilty consciences in this forum, maybe I ought to ban half of you just so that I don't miss anything.

Trouble is, Ken, no one but you knows whether you are being facetious, serious, or some other kind of persona presentation which might, or might not, be hazerdous to forum longevity.

So, while I might have swore (under my breath, of course), I know your sense of humor is present, lurking, but not concretely definable.

    Good Admin!

I rarely use emojis. I prefer to trust that people will recognize a joke when they see one.

Ah, relief! See, I'm so "black & white", that I have difficulty, often, judging an individual's seriousness in person, much less in this cryptic netherworld. OTOH, by what you said above, all doubt is loosened away, like Drano doing it's work. Now you must entertain the earnestness of my nasty retort!

After yesterday’s seemingly catastrophic event, you may well have to open up a room for psychological crisis management. Next door to the Hi - Goodbye Barber Shop should be a splendid place!
As it is, the threads dealing with mental health, anxiety, depression and seeking Jesus should be filling up shortly.

There's the possibility that it's just you, Frank.
