Yummy, I think I would choose the Sole Florentine but I saw fried smelts on the menu at the bottom...haven't had them in years, love them!

Maybe I would convince whoever I was with to share some smelt with me.

Sometimes it's so hard to decide.

 

Thank you for inviting me.. too much deep fried breadcrumbs and batter on those menus for me so I'm going to upgrade to the Dinner Banquet menu...a little more expensive and you have to book 3 days in advance LOL

Yes, the aubergine, oops, eggplant for me as well. I'll have a good dose of garlic on that and I'll give the seasonal beer a bash.

 

Smelts for me. The First Nations people here call them oolichans. Delicious.

 

Apologies, all around, but I am somewhat intimidated by restaurant menus that do not contain pictures of happy meals.....so I will have this, this, and a side order of that, along with a glass of that!

 

Can we go to the Pizza Party? I love pizza and salads. I like diet 7UP though how about you? The Pizza Party for $17 each sounds just right. How about you, do you like pizza too? I like the Pizza Party Menu. Pepperoni, black olives & bell peppers please with the fresh salad sounds so good! Thanks for the invite!!!

 

I never normally have Pizza Krissttina so for a change will certainly try the party menu with the.....Chicken and Broccoli mozzarella, garlic and extra virgin olive oil (Red or White) .....Pizza

Can't see a drinks menu, so would wash it down with an imperial stout if available.

 

I like Italian dishes that don't include fish or seafood. Something spicy hot. It would be a hard choice for me.

 

Am I the only one drinking water? Maybe Holly?

Thanks everyone for joining me for dinner! This was fun.

I started with the escarole and beans, then the Italian Smorgasbord which was Meatball, Italian Sausage, Eggplant Parmigiana and homemade pasta.

It was all good, but far too much; I brought a lot home.

My friend had clams casino, then cavatelli with chicken and broccoli rabe.

This also came with salad.

We had wine but didn't look at the drinks list or the dessert menu.

They had spicy hot wings as appetizers, Ike. You could have gotten a couple orders.
