    I have never liked the word Senior and you can probably find my rant about it on here some where. Chronologically Gifted is a better term :)

    It's funny, but whenever I google Senior....I seem to get "Senior High" results. So just think of yourself as a high school senior, Gloria!

    @Gloria Mitchell "Chronologically Gifted is a better term"

    In my case it's "Developmentally Challenged".

    Ah......Then could a gentleman wishing to compliment your personage simply describe you as a wonderful lady who meets her maturing age with a “broader” outlook and a refined appetite for epicurean knowledge? :)

    Ah.....Bobby, that's right up there with calling a person a Battle-axe, by using the term "A keen head on a slender shaft"!;)

    Almost reminiscent of something W.C. Fields, a true artist of the very definition of tact, might have said.

    Which, brings about something else about getting older.
    Having to have memories of greatness while presently viewing very little of it, but then, that is not a positive notion about getting older.

    Perhaps some of us learn to laugh a little more at ourselves.

    @Bobby Cole
    That was one of the funniest clips I have ever watched and ALL TRUE! Then the Blessed poem at the end brought tears. Thank you so much for sharing that. I hope everyone gets a chance to hear it!

    Actually I should be called JUNIOR. My father having the same first and middle name was the SENIOR. My passport, military ID, Social Security Card all have me as Jr.

    I enjoy telling youngsters in middle-age about things they weren't around to experience.

    Aging is dragging all the chips on the table into your lap.
