    @Pam Sellers
Ha! Well, Pam, I hardly thought it would go in a skewed direction, but all minds think differently when unleashed in a forum, I guess!

    For a more generalized opinion:
You have been here since 2/20/2016 and today is 9/26/18 so that means you have been a member for 965 days even though today is not yet complete.

In those 965 days you have posted 5625 messages which comes to an average of 5.8290155...… posts per day.
Also, in those 965 days you have gleaned 5189 likes (up to this moment) which comes to an average of 5.37720207......likes per day which means that you are liked 92.24888954% of the time.

The remaining percentage (roughly 7.78%) below a 100% like ratio can be attributed to several factors:
    1. Some folks do not know what the "like" button is for.
    2. Some people do not put likes on anyone's post.
    3. There are those who forget to place a like on a post even though they may enjoy them.
    4. And yes, some folks just do not like a post for whatever reason.

Because of those factors you can probably view that rough estimate of 7.78% with about a +/- differential of about 60% for questionable reasons.

I was going to add the number of threads he started in order to get a "view / reply" ratio which would give him a much better idea of the overall picture but I thought that if I did that it might be a little over the top. :)

I have always had a pretty fair ego that helped motivate much of my life. And now, at age 84 my ego is what helps me to meet the daily physical challenges of a couple of medical conditions.

One thing about the whole ego and age thing that I have noticed about myself is that the ego doesn’t get fed as much when we leave the work force.
Whether it’s a pat on the back or a slap along side of the head, someone was paying attention but we were doing what we knew how to do and doing it with pride and proficiency.

Posting on a forum is fun and in some ways satisfying but it just isn’t the same as looking at a finished product which has our name (however discreetly or invisibly) tattooed all over it.
It’s frustrating at the very least Frank, especially when we view that it’s an improbability that we will ever get back to where we were: product finished, pat on the back, ego fed and on to the next project.

So yeah, that frustration shows and is often misunderstood as some sort of animosity with a hint of arrogance attached to it but for the most part, we all know that it isn’t the intention because we all feel the same way at times.
Some of us have hair triggers and some do not. Others allow things to build up until they explode, and still others seem to be able to cope with the changes with grace and humility.

The bottom line is that you’re well liked and have very little to fear @Frank Sanoica.
Relax, good air in, bad air out. Repeat...............:)

Man, that dry Arizona air does wonders for you. Now all you have to do is keep on keeping on. You get my vote.

Heartwarming, for me, to be sure; still, my argumentative attitudes might surely do well to be absent.

No. But, "I've only just begun........to see,
    Why make some promises.......
A little kiss and we're on our way!"

The incorrectly dubbed lyrics of Karen Carpenter. Most beautiful.
